The box office this weekend was abit of a suprise. I was suprised to see the #1 film gross more than $20 mill. October is known for having low weekend grosses, but it seems WB (of all companies) was able to beat that with their #1 movie Training Day. Meanwhile, Glitter continues to suck. Hard.
1. Training Day - $24,175,000 ($24.2 mill)
2. Serendipity - $14,000,000 ($14 mill)
3. Don't Say A Word - $10,000,000 ($32.2 mill)
4. Zoolander - $9,850,000 ($28.7 mill)
5. Joyride - $7,375,000 ($7.4 mill)
6. Max Keeble's Big Movie - $5,500,000 ($5.5 mill)
7. Hearts In Atlantis - $5,400,000 ($16.8 mill)
8. Hardball - $3,700,000 ($31 mill)
9. The Others - $3,000,000 ($91 mill)
10. Rush Hour 2 - $1,775,000 ($222 mill)
It sucks to see Joyride doing so poorly. It was tagged as the weekend movie to see. Still, the box office is really recovering and doing amazingly well, especially with the high gross with Training Day.
