The Next VS. Franchise?

Well there's been Freddy VS. Jason, and comingsoon is Alien VS. Predator.

My question is...what will be the next VS. franchise? (After AvP.)

I think it should be something like Michael VS. Freddy, or something with Michael Myers in it.

I put Freddy in there for filler, though it would be cool to see those two duke it out.

Or it could be Freddy VS. Jason 2: Rematch

Or something like that... :)

Actually, if all goes well for Batman and if the new Superman doesn't bomb judging from the revision plans, there could be a "World's Finest" film.

But if any heroes do team-up it should be two Marvel franchises. Marvel was all about teaming up alot more than DC, even had a long-running comic book called "Marvel Team Up" for crying out loud. It would be cool to see that though. Though I won't speculate who should team-up in a story that would grant a theatrical film, I will say it is always possible.

back in the early 90s Marvel created a gimmick FF team: Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, and Ghost Rider. Imagine that payroll.

Tobey Maguire, Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana, and Nicholas Cage vs. whatever the cast of FF is. Yikes!

After the surprise success of Freddy vs. Jason, rumors surfaced of Helloween, a Pinhead vs. Myers movie. I'm pretty sure that died, though.

"World's Finest" will probably happen sooner or later. That's the biggie, as far as I'm concerned. That's the one I really want to see.

Outside of that... well, the "Vs." movie is a peculiar animal. It lends itself only to a choice few franchises. I guess Godzilla Vs. Gamera is the one I really want.
