I saw a commercial, about "Popples" and I want to know that is it one of those 80's toys that making a comeback?

Ack. Yes, Popples are one of the most regrettable memories of the 80s.

ooh...Yes, I remember the Popples...got an orange one with green hair living in my attic now. :p

Yup, some new Popples are in toy stores now, so they are making a comeback. I enjoyed these guys when I was a kid, so I am kind of amused at the return. The new ones light up and talk.

The other comeback which I am enjoying (much more than Popples) is My Pet Monster, which I have also seen in toy stores lately. This is the big blue guy who wears the orange handcuffs that he can "break" apart. I used to have the littler monsters from this fad. I believe there was some cartoon about My Pet Monster, but I don't remember much about it.

Pound Puppies toys seem to be coming back too. Most kids of the 80s can remember them at least from the Sat. morning show.

Popples? I don't remember them. Maybe I was too little to remember them, or just never got one...what are they anyway??

I remember Pound Puppies though, and Pound Kitties. I loved those! :)

Popples were these guys who had pouches on their backs. You could take that pouch and invert it so that they curled up into balls. They had some that had patterns on them, so there was one that looked like a soccer ball when you rolled him up.

And the cats are Pound Purries! Get it right or pay the price! :)
Yeah, I have a whole mess of the puppies and I think 1 purry hidden away somewhere too, and my brother had 1 or 2 Popples that are probably still around somewhere.

I'm sorry! Please forgive me great Joe Tully ::bows down and grovels:: :p Anyway, I remember now. I should've remembered because I liked the Pound Purries more than the Pound Puppies. And I've seen things like popples before, I didn't know they were called that, though. :)
