View Full Version : No(?) Comfort and Joy summarization.

I'm out for the weekend. I'll still have an internet connection but I'll be doing things so I may not have the time to write the summarization. I may. I may not. I have a few jokes written down but not a full script yet.
If I don't, and you want more of my (LAME) spoofing, you can watch High Score's next new episode when it comes out (in a few weeks). Phil gains superpowers and runs into a superhero force called the Lackluster Team, comprised of Oscillation Man (wavering between godlike strength and geek-like fragilty), The Flirtle (faster than a turtle), Obnoxious Observer (doesn't understand those wacky Earthlings), Black Nightlight, Angstman, and Liberty Queen. It's not a direct parody because DC Comics would slash my head off (a friend of mine wanted to start a webcomic called Super Friends with Benefits and DC legalbombed the crap out of her).

Eh, its only a half episode anyway. Although this is slightly off-topic, I'd also like to endorse High Score ('http://diversions.toonzone.net/highscore/'). No, I wasn't told to do this. Its one of the most witty and innovative web toons that I've had the pleasure of watching, and I'd highly reccomend it to anyone with even a casual experience regarding video games to check this stuff out.

Ah well, enjoy your weekend. I'm not sure if a "Comfort and Joy" summarization would have worked no matter how much effort was put into it. Granted, I haven't seen the episode, but I feel qualified to judge going from partially-informed premonitions.

Well in case anyone cares, I'm doing a "Comfort and Joy" parody on the Cartoon Network Forum. So uh, check if out....... it will be good.... I hope you think that at least.

"I'm out for the weekend."
So does that mean you won't be able to do the talkbacks tomorrow in the CN forums??

Oooh, could I do them? That way you could be indirectly spiteful.

Yeah well as Parodess I should do the CN Board Justice League Talkback, as well as the anything else because I have some good ideas to show off in that one. So uh.... I call it! *Runs off*

DianaGohan, I mean it in the most respectfully cagerattling way when I say Matt Wilson was right in his "Wild Card Comedic Summarization" when he called you the Official "Doing it Person". :D

ROTFL! Ya know, I've never exactly came to this board for its comedic value, but sometimes... damn.

lol precisely my thought... amazing that those "summarizers" now have to actually warn people that there may not be a summarization this week

Actually, I was thinking of wait for it...
Doing the talkback for "Comfort & Joy".
I'll plug your work though.

There's a reason for this thread to still be open...
...to discuss who'll do the "Comfort and Joy" talkback on another forum? Nah...
...for people to whine about how there won't be a "good" summarization this week? Nah...
...for people to endorse Matt Wilson's awesome, awesome, High Score (http://diversions.toonzone.net/highscore/)? Nah...
Well, I guess there isn't a reason. Huh, imagine that.

(High Score (http://diversions.toonzone.net/highscore/) is awesome, by the way)
