I found the one episode (don't know the title) in which the teens were enjecting themselves with the animal DNA to gain their traits was really scary. As fictious as it sounds, I think one day that can happen. Just seems weird. What do you think?

It's already begun. While they are not injecting DNA, I hear of kids and adults having surgery to make them look like animals in certain ways. I bet Splicing isn't that far away. Awhile to come, yeah, but not that long.

The episode Spilcers. Can you guys imagine what would happen if a bunch of people were running around with animal DNA? Scary.

I remember seeing a picture of a person who had plastic surgery done to make her look like a cat.....
Splicers was a good ep..would've liked it more if KWB didn't use it so much..

I know some people who I'd swear had plant DNA in them!
Just kidding. This could go beyond animal DNA, tho. What if we get to a point where people want to inject OTHER people's DNA in them? Tired of being yourself? Wanna try to be more like a movie star or a celebrity of some sort? For $10,000, you can, with a DNA injection! After all, the Joker basically used splicer technology to imprint himself onto Tim's DNA.

Yeah, i saw a guy who had his whole body tattooed (yes, everywhere) to make himself look like a cheetah. He also had a lot of dental work done to make his teeth look like a cheetah. There are some weird people out there...
But my favorite line from the whole ep was when that one Splicer on the news said something to the effect of
"I'm expressing my individuality. Just like all my friends."

Wow, I've never seen anyone who's undertaken procedures to look like an animal, yet. I've heard of it though. Was the cheetah guy on Ripley's believe it or not show? I thought i heard something like that was on it. You know what'd be scary, walking in like the city in the middle of the night and out of an alley comes who you think is a normal guy, but he looks like an anteater or something. That would definitely be freaky.

There's another guy who has been getting a lot of surgery to make himself look like a snake... brow injections, forked tounge, the works. So if splicer technology ever does come around, I can bet a fair number of people would sign up for it.

And I thought sex change operations were the most unbelieveable thing I had heard of. Now people are trying to change their SPECIES. Wow.

Seriously!?!? Is that even scientifically possible? I'm sorry, individuality is great and all, but I think that's crossing the border and diving headfirst into nutso territory.

I saw him on Guiness Prime Time. And the guy lives on his own island and only goes into civilization to buy food, or other essentials.

I think it's scientifically impossible to do either, in full actuality. Sex change operations just take part you already have and...well, kinda change them to make the new parts, which never will work. And for these people who are trying to change their species, or so it seems (don't forget the cat lady!), well, I think it's just as much a delusion as sex change operations.
