This thread will be used for people to share their great game ideas. Who knows, maybe some game company will actually listen for once.

I used to make mock video game magazines in my free time so here are some of the games I made up:
-Blood Thirsty Bats: Play as bats who can fly through expansive levels and bite their prey.
-Silverware Force: A 3D fighting game where the characters are kitchen supplies! Fighters include fork, spoon, knife, blender, egg beater, salt & pepper (kinda like Ryu & Ken), turkey baster, cheese grater, and more!
-Digestive Frog: Guide a shrunken frog down a man's esophagus (3D racing-style), then through the stomach (2D platforming), through the intestines (3D action), and finally in the complete darkness of the rectum (2D platforming again- turn on the lights by punching the walls!). Fun for the whole family.
-Airline Death: Standard 2 1/2-D shooter game; the catch is, you fly over and through famous cities of the U.S.
-Relaxing Hotel: Kind of a no-point game; you go around to various hotels in a city, test out their rooms, pools, exercise equiptment, and then rate them to the nervous hotel owners. Features unprecedented, realistic graphics.
-Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat- Come on, who HASN'T wanted this idea?
-Tornado!/Hurricane!/Earthquake!/Volcano!- A series of disaster games where your objective is to outrun a natural disaster and to save as many people as possible.
And since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I also made a bunch of copycat games:
-Lash Rabbit (Crash Bandicoot) -Jungle Explorer (Tomb Raider) -Butler's World (Donkey Kong Country) -Pandemonium (Doom; this idea was made before the Crystal Dynamics game Pandemonium was released)
I really don't care if someone steals these ideas to make a game; go ahead. Hopefully I'll have fun when the product comes out (or if it's released on computer as an application). :)

the greatest game would be where you could actually do anything. and i mean ANYTHING!!!! I would like no restrictions what so ever. Just once. It could be a 5 minute game, just so long they don't restrict me from going over there,or into that building,or over that fence,or driving into that wall,or attack that inoccent by-stander, or getting to the boss through the back door instead of the front,or using that brick from the just smacked down wall to hurl at my opponent,or allowing me to think for myself for once instead of following a set of stupid guidelines and allowing more then one way of doing things!!! I"M SO SICK AND TIRED OF IT!!!!! I WANT FREEDOM! FREEEEEDOOOOM!!!!!...GRRR!!!

A game where you could spit on or make fun of people that play Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, or anyother lame table top RPG in a location like the Game Workshop or a Hobby Shop.
"I've got a forest nimph in attack mode"
"I've got a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew."
"No! My cards!"

Ok this game would have a slot where, Out of the back of your Ps2 GC or Xbox, There would be a divice that allows you to make KFC chicken and print it into real food! There for alowing you to go to KFC in the game and print out the food you make/buy. I know this game would sell for millions! And hopefully Sega Would make it for reasons i dont know.

I DEMAND the type of game described here: http://nuklearpower.com/oldvsnew.php
He has two especially great ideas in there. One - no random battles. Experience wouldn't be as huge a factor, because the game would focus on telling a story (and other types of experience rather than battle exp) rather than the 'collecting' aspect. Secondly, your character, thru a grand amount of choices open to the player, changes in ways that greatly affect the story.
I'd also love an Animal Crossing type of MMORPG, one where fighting *gasp* wasn't a big deal and doing mostly whatever you want in the town was the first priority. Also keyword - online - so you could play with all your friends in the same town, lay traps, play games together, take turns whacking Gwen the Penguin with the bug-catching net... awww, fantasies... Okay, I just want an online Animal Crossing. Is that so wrong?
The fanboy in me is overriding any creative forces. With that explained, I'd also like a true 3D Smash Brothers, but not in the vein of Soul Caliber, but more a multiplayer 3D Zelda-type/Mario-type game, with far more variety of abilities and locales, and no Z targeting. Plus - added cooperative mode to fight classic Nintendo 3D battles such as against SM64 Bowser or Z64 Ganon. Yum...

A RPG either called "The Shadow King" (or "Kingdom Hearts:The Heartless Ones" :D ). It basicly about a kid(You can choose between a boy or a girl) obtaining dark powers and is chosen to become the next king of the underworld. However the recent evil tyrant king doesn't want that because he is very close into taking over the human world, so he send his evil minions to kill the kid.
