What are the best co-op games for xbox? I'm looking for something that would be cool to play with 2-4 players. I've heard about Dungeons and Dragons Heroes. Is that any good? I was also thinking about getting Batman Rise of Sin Tsu. Anything better out there? I'm looking for something other than a FPS, because I'm already planning on picking up Halo and maybe Timesplitters 2.

Here are some I suggest picking up.

DOA3 (2 Players and its only $19.99)

Crimson Skies (Great offline and even better online plus you can play up to 16 players via Xbox Live or System Link)

Top Spin (Best Tennis game since Vitrua Tennis and up to 4 players can play)

Kung Fu Chaos (Think Power Stone mixed together with some wacky Mario Party esque mini games. Great for four player mayhem)

Mech Assault (See Crimson Skies. Btw Crimson Skies is alot better)

RAW 2 (If your a fan of wrestling then this is the game for you that is unless you own a PS2. If so forget RAW 2 and get Here Comes the Pain for PS2)

Those are some of my favorite multiplayer games for the Xbox.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am a wrestling fan, but I'll wait for Raw 3. Hopefully that one will be closer to "Here Comes the Pain."

And I have a question about playing online: is there any way to do that for free? I don't want to sign up for Xbox live because I don't think I'll be playing enough to justify the expense.

The current Xbox bundle lets you have a 2-month free trial period for Live, but otherwise no.

You could also just buy the Xbox Live starter kit which includes a years subscription to Live, Mech Assault (full game), and the headset for $49.99. Live is $50 a year after the free year is up. I suggest trying it out and if you like it re-subscribe. I personally don't see how you could go wrong with Xbox Live. Live is the best thing the Xbox has going for it. If you get Live you know where to reach me *points down at sig*.

Halo! That's my choice at least. You can have a lot of fun with that game. Oh yeh DOA3

Actually Sigma, DOA3 is four players, just only in tag battles.

Reccomending DOA3 and not Soul Calibur II? Blasphemy.

Good point I forgot about that. It's been awhile since I last played it.

I didn't mention SCII because I was trying to list exclusive games. Spawn is cool and all, but Link owns him. Seriously though it is a mater of opinnion. If I was to pick a verison other then the Gamecube then I would go with Xbox.

Also if you like Gauntlet type games then get one of the Hunter games.

So SCII is a lot better than DOA3?

And thanks for suggesting the Hunter games. I checked some reviews and they look pretty sweet. That's kind of what I was looking for. That's probably what I'll look for first after getting Halo.
