Type in "miserable failure" and hit the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. :D

Amusing, I hate that phrase, but it is funny.

Well you can say that again, Mr. Bush is a failure when it comes to many problems like the war and such, but that is down right funny.

In case it's not commonly known, the phrase, "a miserable failure," was coined by Rep. Dick Gephardt at some of the earlier Democratic nominee debates. He even has a website A Miserable Failure (http://www.amiserablefailure.com/plugin/template/gephardt/220/*). I really don't like the phrase myself, it smells too ad-hominem like for my tastes, and Gephardt hasn't used it much since. So I think trying to make this a slogan for his campaign was something of a miserable failure itself.

Related article on "google-bombing". As much of an advocate for the French mentality as I am, I found the "French military victories" thing to be funny (my friends pointed this out to me a while ago).

"This is just one of those spontaneous things that a blogger will post something and other bloggers will say, 'This is a great idea.'"

If there is a made up word I hate more than blogger I haven't found it.

Yeah, too bad Jackassery turned out to be real.

And I don't understand your assessment that it's a made up word. All words at one point were "made up." The innovation of new lexical items or the adapatation of existing ones is how a language's vocabulary expands to deal with new things.

For Instance, try "Who da man?"

Agreed, I must learn to say it differently, I just am annoyed by those new buzz words.

I've been making fun of that very line for years now (after my bro managed to time the rewind button perfectly to nail the line everytime, for a half hour straight)

OMG not "yourthemannowdog.com." A couple of kids would all play that same website at the same time (in a sort of chorus) during computer science class for the whole friggin class and the teacher we had was literally deaf. It annoyed the f*&^ outta me.
