Just got mine from Circuit City and since I saw the movie at the theatres already I' went straight for the Extras.

The outtakes are hilraious! :D

Excellent movie. I only got to watch some of the extras so far. The bloopers were great. I'm mad they don't have any of the trailers on it though. At least none that I found.

Just went through the extras and I must say this:

It has been a while I saw so many features that actually are good!

From the galleries to hystorical facts about pirates to the making to the original Disney ride, man I now want to go to that ride!

I purchased it yesterday. My friend and I watched it and forgot how funny it was. The extras were excellent... I wish more DVDs had fun extras like this one has. It's a great addition to anyones movie collection! :anime:

target had it on sale apparently for $15. and they had chocolate twizzlers for $2 in metairie earlier this year, btw. mmm, chocolate twizzlers. mmm.

if i only had $10 more i'd get it in a heartbeat.

and if i cant' buy i may rent one to pieces. ;)

I'd heard good things about the movie and purchased the DVD as a blind buy... definitely glad I did. I loved the film, but I haven't checked out any of the extras yet. Looks like those will be as equally as entertaining and my $15 was well spent.

Both are in the Extras disc

Egg 1:Go to "Bellow Dec menu"

-highlight "set sail" and press left, left. the skull in the Aztec coin will be highlighted, it's a CG Storyboard of the good guys escaping the pirates.

Egg 2: go to the second page of the scene index,(the one with the skeleton hand.

-highlight "pirate ships" and press left once, the ring in the skeleton hand will be highlighted, its the JAPANESE TRAILER!! which is neat.

I found the first one, but not the second one... I also found two others on the extras disk... don't remember at the moment where they are, but that disc is in my player... I'll look into it tomorrow... :)

Having watched Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl in the theater (and loved every second of it), I got the DVD for obvious reasons. :)

It's a pretty good disc, especially the second Supplementary Features disc.

I think what made this movie such a success was the fact they weren't ashamed to play up the campiness of the movie, and that really made the movie work as a summer movie. Small wonder why it made over US$300 million in box office revenues just in the USA alone. :cool:
