Show of hands, who was disapointed with the season premire of Buffy that was on yesterday?
I certainly was, I was all looking forward to something great and that was all I got.

to be honest, i only caught the first season of buffy back on the wb years ago and kinda neglected it from there lol...it's one of those shows that i instantly liked but just lost in the jumble of things over time. now i look at all i've missed, the changes and added on characters...pretty damn overwhelming lol...

despite the absence,i was still pretty interested in seeing it's return last night. i wasn't too dissapointed really. buffy's return from the dead and her big comback as a slayer was done really cool in my opinion. it had me really hyped up. i thought the whole "buffy bot" was a really cool little addition to the ep. even though i have no idea how they could've built something like that lol...all i know is i want one :D overall, i thought there was a good mix of everything last night comedy, action, drama...drama especially-the closing scenes gave me some chills...but i'm just a casual fan at this point. i really don't have any classic eps. to compare it to..it's really hard for me to judge this awesome series. i can see how the die-hards could see this a weaker ep. no doubt there's been classics before it ie-"hush" which i've unfortunatley only heard about..one things for certain though, after last night i'm hooked again. ;)

i was not really disappointed because i had a feeling that the buffy's resurrection was not going to be grandoise. i am looking forward to this season as well as angel.

I thought it was very good, of course, not as good as last season's finale, but I think it would've been darn near impossible to meet up to those expectations. I thought it might've been better if they drug out the suspense of whether the spell worked a little longer. However, Buffy coming back to life in her grave. Wow, I think that is my greatest fear, being buried alive. I was a bit uncomfortable by the demon rape inference though. Poor Buffybot! I really liked her, more than the real Buffy sometimes. I'll miss her.

Oh yeah, Buffy should be in widescreen like Angel, what's up with that?
