Based on the Big Premiere Weekend, what are your thoughts on the new KWB season/schedule?

other than x-men, JCA, and the mummy, i know nothing of the other shows although i do watch card captors from time to time. JCA is still funny; x-men could still be better; the mummy has a bratty kid named alex. although the WB has it problems, its line up is still better than FOX kids. this shows how bad FOX kids is.

--but it's better than what the other channels are offering (ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX). Though the newest stuff is unwatchable; I'm staying with tried and true favorites like Pokemon, Jackie Chan Adventures, and X-Men: Evolution. The new mutants have piqued my curiosity, actually; there's a boy with ice-powers (not sure if it's the original Bobby Drake or a cheap copy), Magneto will return (still wondering if we'll see what drives him this season), and since Quicksilver is one of the "bad" mutants, I wonder if his twin sister Scarlet Witch will turn up at Xavier's (aside from her appearance by seeing her in a milk commercial, I know next to nothing about her, so I won't really know how faithfully they'll handle her. I guess I'll just have to look for a brunette with a passion for the color red....).

In the comic book version, Scarlet Witch, a member of the Avengers, has grown from a teary eyed Stan Lee creation to a competent and capable woman, capable of intimidating with her considerable powers (which were weak in the 60s). She acknowledges her mutant roots, but she would prefer to stay out of mutant affairs--she is not as tight with the X-people as her brother Quicksilver is. She is, first and foremost, an Avenger before a "mutant." Fans have speculated that she subconsciously dislikes being considered a mutant, as she tends to hold back when using her mutant powers and tends to develop her occult powers more (which are less mutant related). She can also speak french, greek and a variety of other Eastern European dialects.
