Yeah, so I asked this on The Neverending Post-I'll ask it here anway. Get more replies. ;)
My time's about seven minutes, 40 seconds. How 'bout anyone else?

Some day, if for some insane reason I decide I feel the need to actually run a mile, I'll let you know! ;)

I have not run the mile since high school--about 4 years ago. I think my best time was a little bit under 7 min...maybe 6:50. I would probably do worse now since I am very out of shape.

Currently, I'm about six to seven minutes... what's odd though... before... I used to run 7:40 too!

Weird, the first time I ever ran a mile was back in 6th grade and it was 7.40 to. The last time I ran the mile was in 8th grade, I got a 6.25. I'd probably do worse now though.

My best time ever was 6:52. Now, I'm afraid it would be more like ten to fifteen minutes. I need to get outside more....

The Mile Run? Uggh. Don't remind me. How well do I do? To paraphrase comedian Mark Lowry:

"By the time I came in from that race, all the other kids had showered, dressed, and were halfway home." :D

I'd probably collapse trying to do it now... I'm with you, fhero, need to get out more...

Gee....I thought I was fast untill I saw people saying they had 6 mintues on thier times. Guess I gotta start running harder...I'll beat you all! ;)

...oh, running a mile isn't that bad! It's really more of a mental challenge-your body could really take it, I'm sure. It's just your mind saying you can't do it that makes it feel so hard.

(B.B. looks at above saying) Um....hey, it's what I tell myself!

Wow, somebody else has heard of him! You rule! :D

I'll walk a mile, sure...in fact, I think I do it almost every day on campus... but run? Uh-uh. No way.

I play field hockey...so we run...a lot...everyday...for long periods of time....uggg. Actually it's gotten a lot better as the season has gone on. I can actually run three miles now without feeling like I'm gonna die! Anyway, my best time for a mile? Hmmm...I haven't actually timed myself in a mile for a while....probably somewhere under eight minutes. I ran a little over two miles yesterday in 18 minutes, so that's my most recent timed run...

The last time I ran a mile was in highschool...my time was 8 minutes. Now for me to run:

1) someone has to be chasing me

2) A mega sale at my favorite mall has to be in effect :D

3) ROTJ the unedited version is for sale in stores.

I have good stamina, but only when walking. Overall, my side starts to hurt after a heavy 100 metre sprint.

Hmm. THat's odd, I thought everyone would have an answer for this no matter what since I thought everyone ran the mile at least once in their early school years, where they timed it.

Anyway, about half my life ago in the 6th grade I ran it in 7:30. But that was a few millenia ago, so that number really has no value now, now does it. :p
