Blight's been said to be Terry's "Joker"...and I'm sure Terry even said "you killed my father" to which blight replied "you have any idea how little that narrows it down?"...
After watching "Rebirth" (my DVD...i missed pt 2. on CN..), I realized...hey..Blight just sent out the order to kill Warren McGinnis..Mr. Fixx was the real killer.
Had he not been killed in that ep, then I think Mr. Fixx would have been Terry's Joker.....not Blight.
Just a little food fer though..

No, not really. Powers ordered the killing. He's definitely the one responsible and the guy that McGinnis wants to bring down more than any other.

But he didn't kill Warren McGinnis..Mr. Fixx did...Heck, sombody could order sombody to kill a person, and if the other person did it..then he's the murderer...not the guy who ordered it...
That's my theory...

But the Joker (while he does also kill people) send his henchmen out to kill and steal as well. I'm not really sure if Terry ever had a "Joker", but Blight was as close as they came.

One of the earliest stories on record of somebody in power ordering a killing is in the Bible, where David, in an attempt to cover up his indescretion with Bathsheba, orders one of his men to go to the front line and take out Bathsheba's husband. Tho David stayed in his palace, and one of his men did the killing, God didn't hold the man who actually killed Bathsheba's husband responsible. The blood of her husband was on David's hands. And so is the blood of Warren McGinnis on Blight's hand.

While I don't think Blight became as a foreboding and menacing threat as the Joker was, their origins were quite similar.

When Jack Napier shoots the Waynes in "Batman," nobody says, "hey, the gun commited the actual killing, not Jack." Like the gun, Mr. Fixx was just the instrument. Warren McGinnis discovered Powers nerve gas data, so Powers wanted him dead. Fixx was just the way in which this was accomplished.
I'm not saying Fixx had no responsibility. He's definitely a murderer. But the ultimate blame has to fall on Powers. He wanted Warren dead and made certain it happened.

Sorry Double B, but I must disagree. Although I have in fact considered that Mr. Fixx thing. The only thing I got from it was, "Wow...in a way two people killed Terry's dad? Boy that must be confusing and annoying for him."
But that's why I'm glad we saw the last of Mr. Fixx in REBIRTH. Terry's Batman came out of him full force (but of course, retreated until episodes and movies like BABEL and ROTJ) when he fought the man who physically killed his father, for the simpleton reason of "he was told to." I'm sure there was a lot of anger there. But afterwards, Terry wasn't fulfilled completely, and knew there was a bigger stronger power responsible.
Besides, I don't think the Batman/Joker relation for Blight and Terry has to be EXACT and word for word for Bruce and The Joker. The reason I say Blight is Terry's "Joker" is because both Blight and Terry have the same hatred combined with obsessions for each other. And I think that's a really cool thing they did.
