Well, I think we're ready to give this debate another go. It's the age old question with a new twist!

If Spider-Girl (May Parker) had to fight Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis), who would be the champion?

If anyone thinks this topic sounds familair, it's becuase we've sorta done this before. This topic is inspired by the original Batman Beyond VS Spider-Man thread. This seems more evenly matched becuase both series take place in the relative same time frame. This should make the fight a bit more even handed and plausible. Plus - this debate was actually featured in an issue of Wizard magazine, where Batman was the victor.

Now, the question again:

If Spider-Girl (May Parker) had to fight Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis), who would be the champion?

I really think BB might win this one, simply because, SG doesn't have as much experiance as her dad.

Spiderman vs Batman is whole different thing, but yeah I agree; if it was Spider Girl vs Terry, Terry would definitely win. There's no question about it. Spider Girl is very inexperienced and correct me if I'm wrong, but she also doesn't exactly have all her spider powers all the time. Half the time she loses the ability to climb up walls and such. And being stuck on that Goblin flyer doesn't help her much either. Terry would easily win, whether blowing up the flyer or just simply knocking her out, Terry would win.

I'm going to have to give this one to Terry for three reasons --

1) Training. Terry was a skilled fighter before he met Bruce. After Terry became Batman, Bruce started personally training Terry.

2) Experience. Terry's been doing this longer than Spider-Girl.

3) Resources. Not only does Terry has a vast array of Batgadgets at his disposal, but he also has the ability to ask Bruce for advice, if he needs to.

I pick Terry. May Parker is new at the crime fighting business. Also I remeber there was a picture of Batman Beyond and Spider Girl fighting each other. It be nice if someone can post it.

Terry would have this down, simply due to May's inexperience. Granted I've never read her books, but she's a fair newbie at this. Terry would be able to simply outsmart her using his manuveurs and a few words of advice from Bruce.

The only place May could beat Terry? Comic sales. She still has a book.
