I haven't read anything about this from you guys yet, but found the info at cartoonnetwork.com/tv
Tom And Jerry Slamfest
Monday, May 28, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. (e/p)
It's the ultimate game of cat and mouse when Cartoon Network presents the 12-hour Tom and Jerry Slamfest on Memorial Day. The mischievous feline Tom battles the even-more-mischievous rodent Jerry in dozens of classic clashes during this full day of house-wrecking chases and crashes. While they pummel, punish and pester each other, Tom and Jerry always retain a certain mutual respect.
Not as big news as June Bugs, but it will be a nice break from the recent inundations of Cartoon Cartoons.

Didn't CN already show a T&J special called "Tom and Jerry Slamfest" before?

Yep, late last year, this one will probably have the same (badly drawn, I mean, Tom's ears were HUGE!) bumpers too.

When I first saw the logo, I thought Tom was Nibbles!!!:D
Well, I'm hoping to see the following on the marathon:
"Dog Trouble"
"Puss n' Toots"
"The Milky Waif"
"The Little Orphan"
"The Framed Cat"
"Life with Tom"
The 3 Remakes
We have to be reasonable guys. The titles I chose were ones where Mammy hardly appears at all and/or racial stereotypes are edited out. Also, what is "The Framed Cat" about. I downloaded the T&J Web Premier Toon off CN's website, and they played clips from it, which were:
1)Tom chases Jerry out of the house (Jerry is holding a piece of chicken). When they get behind the house, Tom quickly grabs Jerry, takes the chicken, and devours it.
2)Jerry puts a screw into Spike's bone, and puts a magnet in Tom's mouth, causing the bone to go in the cat's mouth. Spike takes it away from him but there is fight because of the magnet. Tom finally gets it stuck in his mouth, and Spike chases him. Jerry is smiling from inside a tin can, but the can gets pulled (with Jerry still in it) by the magnet. Jerry is dragged by the cat and dog, out of town!
I think scene 2 is the last gag of the cartoon, since it had an "establishing shot" of the town, and the music sounded like the end of one. Can someone give a full description of this, and "Sleepy Time Tom"? These are the only two T&Js I've never seen.....

Too bad none of the Tom & Jerry Slamfest runs overnight so CN could run some un-edited gems. Then again, they'd probably be wary about that after the June Bugs mess.
Anyone think that "Mansion Cat" will be slipped into the mix?
