Although I still haven't decided if I want to see Looney Tunes, Back In Action just for the fact that I don't know if I want to see this in a theater(like the terrible exprience when I saw Space Jam in the theater) with a bunch of sreaming little kids climbing all over their seats, but has anyone one of our member see the film yet?Even though the film got great reviews, but the reviews here In NYC were not good at all.

Daily News film critic Jack Mathews summed up his review like this....

"In fact, I'd trade Martin, Fraser and Elfman for the Three Little Pigs. The memory of the Looney Tunes creators-Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett and Tex Avery, among others would have been better served of the humans just got out of their characters' way."

Matthews basically summed up the film like this...Unfunny Bunny really Bugs me..

Another film critic from the New York Post said that the picture would have been a thousand times better if the film makers, just made the film entirely in animation without a live-action cast and just focused on the Looney Tunes characters.

Any thoughts gang?

Nelson, I've written a review for Toon Zone, and it SHOULD be up soon...

It's definitley worth seeing in a theatre, maybe you could catch one of the later showings when all the little kiddies are still in bed...;)

I went to the 2:55 showing at the Regal Cinemas in Niagara Falls, and my sister and I were the only ones there, except for about 4 other people...

LT-Back in Action Movie - I promised my nephews that I would take them to see it, so I did. The outcome? Lets just say, they prefer the DVD's of LT and Merrie Melodies that I've already given them.

As for me, I got what I expected. A few laughs here and there and that's it. The actors looked rather unattractive and dorky. Except for Heather Locklear, Wow, she's still got it. The plot, eh... "I've had better..."(Jim Carey from Liar Liar) Overall? - Enjoyable, but not a must see in my opinion.

I suggest a matinee showing on a rainy day. After all, $9.50(adult) is just too much dough for this show! And now back to the Looney Tunes Marathon! Thank you Boomerang channel!
