OK - the theory (hypothesis, for those who feel compelled to pick nits) is that there were only 3 'toons in which Bugs was set in an Arthurian/Medieval English setting. I suspect there were more.

Note: we are not talking about sub-contracted works - just the original shop (i.e. cartoons produced before the shop closed in 1963).

The list:
Knights Must Fall (1949)
Knight-Mare Hare (1955)
Knighty-Knight Bugs (1958)

Let's not forget RABBIT HOOD (1949). :bugs1:

How about "Shishkabugs".

I know the cartoon is not about knights, but it did lok like it took place then. I haven't seen it for a long time, so I don't know.

BTW, there were no Bugs Bunny cartoons after 1963 when DePatie-Freleng took over production of "Looney Tunes".

Let's not forget that Arthur died somewhere around 540 C.E. and King John (Robin Hood's nemesis) died in 1216 C.E. (after signing the Magna Carta in 1215 (and otherwise messing up the kinghood and the country)).

Just a tad different times (although both Arthur and Robin are equally more legend than fact) ;)

I don't remember Shiskabugs well enough to place its time - can anyone chime in?

I think that pogo means to exclude "Bugs Bunny in King Arthur's Court" a.k.a "A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court" that Chuck Jones made somehere in the 70's..which is kind of a shame, because it's one of my favorites...I still have an old VHS tape of this one.

But both fall within the generally regarded definition of "Medieval English" - even if Arthur was near the beginning of the period and King John toward the end. It was unclear in your OP whether you wanted ONLY Arthurian Medieval cartoons, or if you wanted Arthurian AND other Medieval cartoons.

I knew that the two legends lived centuries apart, but would have mentioned "Rabbit Hood" if Cartman hadn't first.

Ok, make it "pre-Saxon Conquest" (Battle of Hastings, 1066, if memory serves).
