Did any of you check out that ovation when Batman Beyond was mentioned? :(
And Arthur...obviously nobody cares about THAT show!:D

Not so. I have a couple pre-school-age nephews who like it almost as much as they like 'Blue's Clues.'

It's a wrestling term which refers to favorable audience reaction. They could've just called it applause like everyone else, but nooooooooo, this is wrestling.

Oh! So you mean 'Arthur' actually got a favorable reaction? I'm not surprised; as kid's shows* go it's well above average.

The problem with making ironic comments in print is, a person who hadn't watched the Emmys would have no way to know you weren't being serious.


* By "kid's show", I mean one intended *only* for children. A program like "Animaniacs" is clearly meant to appeal to more than one age group, so I put it in a different category.
