View Full Version : Chrystal Chronicles out in NOVEMBER?!?

hey all

i was just browsing through my family's copy of the jcpenny christmas catalog. of course i immediately went to the videogame section. i received the shock of my life. i thought final fantasy: chrystal chronicles wasn't scheduled for a release until february and here in the catalog is was scheduled to be available in november. WHAT THE?!? also, it had a price listing of $54.99 as opposed to the $49.99. anybody know what this is about?

Hmmm... not to sure bout this one...its doubtfull though, but if it is, that gives me better reason to get a Game Cube and a GameBoy Advance. :D

But, like i said, doubtfull.

Hmm, I'm not sure what this is all about. But EB Games still lists it as coming out in Febuary, as well as the normal price of $49.99. But still, even if it was coming out in November, that is still a long wait. In fact, if it came out tomorrow, that'd still be a long wait. I want NOW! :mad:

At the time of printing the catalog, the date was probably still set for November. By the time the catalog was released, the date had changed. Stuff like this happens all the time. If you look at the fine print somewhere in the catalog, I'm sure it'll say "all release dates subject to change"...nothings definite till the week of...or day of.

Well since no one bothered to talk about the price, then I guess I will. $54 seems a little more...ok it is, but I have heard reports that Crystal Chronicles will be bundled with the GBA connector. Even if that we're true I'd think that the connector would be worth more than $5.

Then...buy it without. I'm sure they'll have both...

The reason it's probably $54.99 is it's JC Penny. Sears, JC Penny, Elder Beerman..they almost always charge more than MSRP for video games...always have, and probably always will.

exactly. i could use another. my little sister also has a gameboy advance and she's always screaming at me that she wants to play my gamecube. well, now she can. i'll gladly teach her how to play chrystal chronicles if it'll make the game easier for me...and her, i guess

its probably just some idiot at square that leaked a false statement or announcement. i dont think that any of us really need to put any thought or effort into figureing if this is true or not.

ya that must be it :rolleyes: ...or it could be that they are like everyother halfwit place like that, and make up release dates they are unsure of, or dont get up-to-date info.
