No Sark or Irina in this one :(
Good: Jack, Sloane, and lots of action
Bad: No real answers, idiotic Vaughn, light on plot
Vaughn is insanley stupid. You KNOW there's evil doubles existing out there, yet you just give up when someone targeted by the evil doubles is seemingly dead and you go hump the next thing you see. Dumbass.

Eh, not that bad of an episode, but kind of predictable... Great ending though. Id personally like to see why she was was seen in that video doing that.

I personally loved the episode, but I feel the Rambaldi revelation was a bit of a letdown. However, this episode continued my love for Sydney and made me a new fan of Jack. Plus, I loved that he was arrested for working with Irina.

Excellent season premiere. The Bristows kick all level of ass.
And maybe its just me, but I thought it was kinda unrealistic for Sydney to assume that Vaughn would just wait around for her when all the evidence pointed to her being dead. But then again...that didn't stop Jack from persuing the "murder" of his daughter. Hmm....

the whole rimbaldi revelation must be BS on sloane's part.. i doubt that was the true story behind it all.
aka, sloane is still the evilest man alive.
missed irina a lot.. can't wait to see mrs. vaughn in teh form of melissa george next week.
the ending lacked somewhat.

dude i totally agree.
she was such a biatch to vaughn.. deal with it, it has been two years and he has moved on.
two years after her fiance died, it appears very much that she "moved on" as well...

a few thoughts I had was maybe Jack is holding back ALOT of information since he was working with Irina. Also, Sloan is most lkey lying that it was peace...the first 2 seasons were devoted to Rambaldi and then they just blow it off like that? i dont think so. No it will all come together.
Loved the ending too because what else could she have been doing for 2 years?
Oh and you can tell Vaughn still loves her...its just eating him up inside that he has moved on and now they are back...this will mot likely play out alot more toward the end of the year

Except he KNEW of the existance of evil clones and past fake deaths (emily Sloane) so he should have been suspicious like Jack was. The fact of the matter is, he's a louse. He began playing kissy face with Syd BEFORE he had dumped Alice, his girlfriend. I'm sure he'll be cheating on his new wife soon enough.
This whole plot exists because JJ Abrams can't stand it when there's no love triangle. He wrote tons of similar contrivences in Felicity (time travel, alternate universes) to keep love triangles.

That's a little strong. People die. It's a fact. Yeah, Syd turned out to be alive, but she could have just as easily been dead. Vaughn had a right to move on with his life. And deep inside, Syd knows that. She may not be able to admit it to herself now, being so overcome with emotion over her world being turned upside down, but in future episodes, I think we will see Syd thinking a little straighter and a little calmer.
And the reason this plot exists is because Abrams knows there's more dramatic possibility when things go wrong. Having the two of them love one another in a perfect situation is no where near as interesting as what we have here now.

I don't think there was any mention of what happened to Irina. Sloan received a message from those Rambaldi artifacts he put together that said "peace". According to him, that made him re-evaluate all the things he had done and realize the wrongs he'd committed. He ended up cooperating with the CIA, receiving a full pardon, and is, I think, working as a consultant for them.

The reason Jack was arrested was that he had been working with Irina to uncover the truth behind Sydney's "death." Her outlaw status got him put in jail. This was how Irina figured into this episode.

Pretty cool premiere.
-It was shocking to me to see that Sloan was now an advisor to the CIA. I wonder if there's more than meets the eye with him.
-Good to see that Dixon is now running the show.
- Jack being jailed for working with Irina was a twist.
-But I have to admit I miss Will, and I especially miss Irina.
-The scariest part I felt was knowing that Marshall got that one agent chick knock up. But it was funny how she wasn't that found of marrying him someday. (Could you blame her.)

Hey, I wonder if Francie's body has been in that resteraunt refridgerator for two years and the health department is unaware.
