If you still need these pics, just drop me a line on AIM sometime over the weekend and I can probably help you out.

i have to ask--WHAT THE HECK IS THAT LIVE-ACTION GIGANTA PICTURE?!

scary. i think i know the answer--is that live-action TV special with Burt Ward and Adam West reprising their roles, and Shazam! is in it w/other super friends?

Yeah, you got it right. :)

Here's another screenshot, where you can sorta see the live-action Giganta outfit:

I was kinda hoping to see screen shots of JL's Secret Society version of Giganta on this thread. :( Ah well.

You know, as corny and cheesy as Gigtanta sounds, I sure hope that Timm & Co. can make that character look and act presentable. I have faith, but I have to admit, if Timm & Co. can make Giganta look cool (is that even her name in JL?), then they can redesign anyone and make them look cool...

You can usually find it at any convention (and probably on eBay). But don't watch it. It's very much a product of its time (or "they" are, since there are two shows). When I was a kid and these two shows came on TV, it was unimaginably great, since this sort of thing didn't just happen back then (especially with little to no publicity), and also as a kid, I didn't exactly have discerning taste.

There are two shows: one where the heroes get together to do battle with the villains (led by Mordru of all people). And one where the heroes are being "roasted" by Ed McMahon. Both of them are treated as comedies, and back in the day, comedies weren't funny.

Burt Ward and Adam West are up to their usual quality, but some of the other characters get short shrift. The Huntress, for example, gets only one line in both shows, and nothing memorable.

The special effects are horrible. The Flash runs by being on screen on second, and off the next. Green Lantern and Sinestro's rings only fire crude blasts. And the Flash's costume looks horrible with its huge chest symbol.

If you value your sanity, do not watch. However, if you enjoy the current Teen Titans cartoon, then it's probably too late for you :p so you might as well watch the Legends of the Superheroes.
