If there is anyone else out there that wants just the empty box for the Love Hina Movies, Right Stuf is now selling the box separately for $9.99 each.

Better hurry if you want one, it looks like they have sold about 400 in 3 hours. Ouch!

This is why I wait on buying stuff until the box set is out. Mad scrambles to get one of the few empty boxes they make available is a pain in the rear.

It's a sport. RightStuf has now sold through almost all of their expected supply of boxes (approx. 770). I bought in while there were still about 700 left and there are only 39 left right now :)

Well they are gone now. I hope everyone that was just looking for the box got one. :) Man those went faster than I thought though. I wonder how many people just bought extra boxes so they could sell them on eBay.

Just curious but why buy an empty box? The picture on the front? Am I missing something?

For me, it makes my DVD area look nicer than just case spines. Some times I display them sideways so you can see more picture :)
Damn, I wish it was the series boxset. I don't wanna buy the first episode over again!

It could be for various reasons:
a) Your a box whore and like to have boxes for every series you own.
b) You keep your boxed series in a different place than your single DVD's, so in this case you had one series split up in two places.
c) For the people that purchased the DVD's separate and would complain like no other because they actually missed out on the box because they bought early. And we all know nobody complains more than hardcore Anime fans. :p
d) For people that have nothing better than to spend thier money on empty cardboard boxes.
uhh... hmm.. well I fall into a, c, and d. Woot?!? Ahh, screw it, that took too much explaining. Either your a box whore or your not, hehe. :anime:

uhh... how about a Escaflowne Box (http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6827/catalogmgr/s7uUtbjMPqwXLAMhea/browse/item/57923/4/0/0) then? You can never have too many, hehe. ;)

Yeah, I'm a box whore too. I think I got the Bebop box set from the very last internet place that had any left other then eBay for double the price. I just figure, since the DVDs are part of a series, they should somehow go together, like in a box.
It's just too bad that half the box sets (or disc 1 with box) out there are limited runs. C'mon, let everybody have a chance to buy a box set.
Got a Movie box set when they came back in.
Now I need a series box set. Anybody know where I can get an empty one?

Sorry, I've looked around and don't see anyone selling just the empty box. You can still buy Vol. 1 with the box, but I don't know know of anyone selling just the box. Maybe watch eBay and you could get lucky... Sorry. :(
