If my mind serves me correctly, there was a newspaper comic strip of Mr.Magoo that was based on the 1960 tv verison. The strip featured all of thew supporting characters from Cicero, Hamlet, Mother Magoo, Waldo and of course Charlie.Does anyone remember this strip?

I used to have a paperback collection of the strip, What's New Mr. Magoo?, which I assume came out when the DePatie-Freling version originally aired. I remember that comic-strip Magoo had a cat named Bowzer (sp?), which Magoo thought was a dog. I also remember that Charlie only appeared in 2 of the strips in this collection, and he didn't speak in either one.

I know that the Magoos for TV had some cool Tweety s type near-spinoff cartoons, with "Cicero, Julius<and Hamlet", and HB SFX.

I totally think that the cartoons with Cicero and Hamlet are pretty funny and some of the shorts that pairs Ceasar and Hamlet are quite funny as well.

Are these all TV cartoons that they show on this series or do they show some theatrical cartoons as well?

They only show the made-for-TV cartoons on this show. The theatrical UPA Magoo cartoons are owned by Sony.

I would have thought they'd be owned by Columbia.
