How often do you game and how long?

I'm finding it very hard to find time to play any games I get lately. I'll be lucky if I average a few hours a week and many weeks I don't have time at all.

So I'm curious, how often do you play?
Also on average over a week, how many hours a day do you play?


edit: Yes I spelled "weak" wrong, sue me. Or maybe I meant after playing for 10 or more hours you'd end up sleeping for the rest of the week. :)

It really depends on how much time I have in a day and how much I'm into a game. But I'm more of a 0-2 person on average, but I have been known to hit 8-10 a day easy.

I play Games from the second i get home from school (2:00PM) Till i go to bed (10:00). Thats Monday-Friday, On weekends Iam useually at a friends so we play as much as we can (useually 5 hours with friends), But if iam home all day on the weekends ill useually play all day. I useually beat 1 game a week, lol. = Has no Life.

I only make my games 2 hours long but sometimes I can play up to 4 during the early morning hours, yet that is usually my thing if I'm doing somthing funny or just a bit constructive and all.

Recentley I've only been playing for about two hours on the weekdays, and on the weekends mostley, about 4 hrs.

I could never play a game for more than an hour without starting to feel like there's better stuff to do.

i usually play for 2 to 4 hours a day. it all depends on how i feel and if i get a new game. typically i have homework everyday so i spend about an hour for each class doing that (usually two hours), then throw in a hour for toonzone, then i have to do household chores since i'm living at home. right now i recently bought f-zero gx so yeah. *goes to play f-zero gx*

When I do play (and I don't happen to play much anymore, unfortunately), I usually play two or three times during the day in one hour chunks. The exception to this is if I happen to complete a chapter/mission/level in the game, and I don't feel like starting the next one yet (Eternal Darkness, Rogue Leader). Then I quit early.

I play about an hour and a half a day, and basically just the sports games that I play daily, since I play through various franchise modes and seasons.

My RPG gaming days are just about over, I don't play super long games anymore. I overdid it 2 years ago when I marathoned through Baldur's Gate I, II, and Planescape Torment 8-12 hours a day for a whole summer. That was enough binge gaming for a lifetime.

I put "0-2 hrs" but that's an average. I'll go for weeks without playing any vids at all, and then I'll go on periodic binges where that's all I do every waking moment I'm not at school or work. (-:

Mostly just on the weekends, honestly. Working sucks. When I do get to game, I like to play for more than a couple hours at a time, though. I've been known to play almost a day at a time.

Sometimes I'll find a game, though, like Deus Ex, Fallout or Suikoden, that's worth sacrificing sleep, television and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other recreation for. Those are the games that, for a short while, take over your life, and I find myself playing them every night until it's almost time to go to work, until I get them finished.

When I get a new game I play it every second i have free, but when I can't find a game to play I usually end up hanging out on the internet for long periods of time and then don't realize it until it's to late and I don't have enough time to get a good game going.

On weekends, I'd say it tends to be between 2-4 hours/day, and on weekdays during the school year, it's usually between 0-2 hours, if I get a chance to play at all. :yawn:

I only play for more than 2 hours at a time when theres a game i haven't beaten..otherwise ill just keep playin till i beat it

The weird thing is if someone had asked me this question about 5 or 6 years ago my answer might have been closer to 6 to 8 hours a day (back when I had a MMORPG addiction).

Lately though I just can't find the time even if I want to play. So I go for weeks without playing and then try to catch up one weekend by playing for 4 or 5 hours.

I'm still way behind though, I've got games I've never finished lying around.
