With all the bad news about Nintendo's Gamecube lately , I found it refreshing to see that it's getting good sales for once.

Eh...next month it'll be PS2 in the lead again. Doesn't really matter to me...

...what does matter to me is the fact I'm broke and theres still 5 or 6 games I need to buy. :(

Well if they make enough good games (which is there problem) then people will buy it, but the again Xbox over there is no compatition so that also helped majorly

The sales figures might be accurate, but they are from Japan. If the GC outsold the PS2 in the US... well, then you'd have something. But the Japanese sales of a system have only a modest impact on what happens to that system over here. The XBOX and Genesis can show us that.

For awhile the Gameboy Color and Wonderswan Crystal was out selling the Xbox in Japan as well as the Playstation and N64.
