First off, is it wrong to like 2 girls at once? Cus you see, there's this pen pal of mine (sounds odd, but bear with me) that lives in Bristol, TN, and I live in Chattanooga, TN. She's just a little while from here if you think about it, but still. Anyway, she's really cute and nice and everything, but there's just the distance thing. Then there's this other girl at my school that I kinda like too. I don't know why, I just do. But it's a lot easier to get to know a pen pal than someone at school though. I think I like the pen pal more, but I just think I need some advice. Please offer any you have!

Joke answer: Ask them both out. Whoever turns you down, should be burninated, like peasent, or thatched roof cottage.

Serious answer: Try to get to know them both pretty well, then ask out which ever one you like best. If you're turned down, try the other.

But you shouldn't take advice from me. Seriously.

<===has only ever had two girlfriends, and seems to have bad taste in girlfriends.

Pursue both of them, and then put your seatbelts on for a fun and crazy ride.

Thanks guys! I guess I was right all along liking the pen pal the most. Besides, it's easier to tell someone "I love you." over the internet :D Seriously though, I used to play Ragnarok Online and I fell in love with a girl I partied up with a lot, but unfortunately she didn't like me the same way when I got up the courage to tell her how I felt :( Sure she's 17 and I'm 12 (turning 13 in October, just so you know), but it doesn't mean we couldn't have had an RO relationship :anime:

If I were you, I'd go with the one from school, because distance things are ok but they're not real if you barely see one another. Going back and forth really puts a strain on your life and your wallet! But then again, if you broke up with long distance girl, you wouldn't have to see her again. But LDR's aren't usually good at a young age.

*sighs*

Kids these days and their relationship status.

Ever heard of the word "wait"? You're just a kid. What's going to get you ahead in your life: a relationship or school? Guess what? It's school. If you don't have at least high school these days, you're screwed.

Relationships can wait, you know. Concentrate on what's vital, not wondering which girl you want to have as a girlfriend.

Yeesh.

I'm screwed enough as it is.

You're 12 going on 13........................what's the rush? If being her boy friend makes you happy my all means go ahead but keep a level head on your shoulders. Also, no, there's no way that a 12 year old could havea relationship with a 17 year old. That just aint going to work.

Thanks. I'm not letting it get ahead of me our anything, I'm just saying. Besides, this is the first time this has happened to me before. You can't blame me for not knowing what to do. I mean it's not like I'm obsessed with her or anything.

No one ever needs to be in a relationship. It would be nice if I had a girlfriend right now, but I don't, and I haven't really been looking.

Okee, thanks for the advice you guys. Besides, everyone gets a crush on someone sooner or later. And she may not be near by, but my pen pal's only like an hour or less drive from where I am. (now I just gotta get old enough to drive)

You're 12???

Even if you will be 13 soon, or just turned, what is your hurry?

As for which girl to ask out. You can follow two philosophies. You can ask each girl out and go with whoever says yes. Or you can pick one you like best and try to stay friends with the other. Either way doesn't matter, your only 12. If you get one of them to go out with you and the relationship lasts longer than a week or two, I'll be very much surprised.

BTW, i'd be careful if i was you, a newbie on the anime board just got banned for being 12.

EDIT: I just looked at the date on this thread, how did this get up here?

Well, considering this topic was started in September, and he said he'd be 13 by October, I think he's okay now.

I'm amazed at how many kids think they need a girlfriend, and are only 11, 12, 13 or whatever. Disturbingly, quite often when a group of kids pass me by on the sidewalk I hear things like "are you goin' out wit her?" from people as young as 10 and 11. Even worse it's probably just going to get younger and younger every generation. As far as im concerned girlfriends are for tamed sissies and "sk8r" or "gangsta" nerds. Thats not necessarily true though. I'm just using those as examples and stereotypes.
