I bought the House of 1,000 Corpses dvd because this store a block down from my g/f's had it on sale for $16, and I opened it, there was a slot for a booklet or insert, but it was empty. I took it back to the store and the guy said it didn't have one, and thatI couldn't exchange it for a new one unless the disc was defective anyway.
Is he lying his ass off?
Is there an email address for LGF that I can ask them for a booklet since this store won't exchange it if there is one?

There is no insert, though some copies do have a promo for Zombie's new CD in the sleeve.

New cd? Is it a real new one, or just filled with remixes?

I don't know, here's a DVDtalk thread. http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=310995
"Possible that the cardboard cases are missing an advert for Zombie's new album of greatest hits w/bonus dvd coming out this halloween."

My sister's copy of the movie has a booklet of a bunch of Artisan movies and that's it. All my copy had in it was an insert for Rob Zombie: Past, Present, and Future - The Ultimate Collection (which I know is coming out at Halloween with a bonus DVD of all his videos). I would have liked a booklet about the movie, but oh well. Maybe on the double-dip

My House of a 1,000 Corpses DVD didn't have anything inside the insert.

Ok I'm very confused. I go to Target today, and they had a copy that was in a clear alpha type case. What is the difference? Why are there 2 versions?

Mine came with a promo for the new Zombie CD, which apparantly is a greatest hits CD plus two new tracks and a DVD of unreleased videos. I'll definately be picking that up. And it came with basically a listing of all Lion's Gate films. You didn't really miss out on anything.
