I know its probably too late to make a change, but it would be a funny gag to play it.
What would they replace though? (& what will fill the other 15 minutes?)

SGC2C episode "King Dead" had a power outage in it. :-)
Ya see that? Ya sucked all the lights out!
No, I blew the fuse's mind.

Shut up, i was just stuck in traffic in New York City for seven hours, and six of those hours I only mover 4 blocks, so shut up
(in bad mood)
As funny as it sounds; IMO, it would be in very poor taste to show it.

Why? It's hardly a tragedy. I could understand if it were California, but something like this hasn't happened on the east coast since the '70s.

Why would it be different if it were California? Last night was the largest blackout in US history and it sure as hell inconvienced a lot of people (myself included). I think one person died also as a result of the blackout.

Actually I read earlier that three people had died. I think 2 of them were in Michigan due to fires.

California was plagued by blackouts that were rooted in corruption and scandal. The east coast has one major blackout in 30 years. God forbid someone be inconvienced for a day. Some people (myself included) go every day of their life being inconvienced by one matter or another. As for someone dying, it's unfortunate but it happens every day.

no. i don't think ....considering how unfunny blackouts are in light of the recent ones .... they should show the episode , at least not for a long time.

Man, it's like people in the East think they invented the blackout. More people have died recently in my state from car crashes than people have in blackout related incidences. Maybe they should show Blackout and preempt all the shows that have cars. It was an unusually widespread blackout but there's nothing particularly tragic about it.
