Don't know how many have heard it yet, but you can listen to the theme song from the upcoming GI Joe Spy Troops movie here:GIJoe.com (http://www.hasbro.com/gijoe/default.cfm?CFID=1427986&CFTOKEN=62314780)
Sounds kind of like Linkin Park doing a James Bond theme song. Pretty cool, although I would have preferred they incorporated the melody from the original theme song, and a distinctive chorus might be nice. I'm glad they opted for a song rather than an orchestral piece like most shows these days. It definitely sounds more mature than the average cartoon theme, maybe they're targeting an older audience.

Who else is excited about the movie? I hope it's much better animated than Max Steel. Wish it was cell, but I guess we have to take what we can get. With any luck it'll spawn a series. Yo Joe!

The hard rock reminds me of the music from Quake 3.

Maybe it's because I'm a child of the 80's, but this new movie theme doesn't give me the same adreniline rush like the 80's movie theme. But it is cool that we're getting a new movie :) .

It's okay, I guess.

Too generic sounding, IMO.

It's average to good range for me but nothing beats the old 80s song... :)

Certainly some Linkin Park influence. Not bad actually, just not the original. Even if they quoted something from the old series theme in the new one it would greatly improve the song IMO. Still decent stuff and interesting.

If it were a rock/techno remake of the original, it would be classic.

Actuallt they do, but you have to listen closely for it. At the very beginning you can hear "Yo Joe!" and "A real American hero." I think they should have worked it into a chorus though.
