What is the next gundam anime that they are going to show in the U.S.
Superior Defender Gundam.

For official Gundam series however... Z Gundam.
After that... probably Gundam SEED, but I'm more convinced that it's better to release ZZ after Z.

Currently there's been no deal to air Zeta on CN. So whilst it's coming, it won't be 'shown'.

Here's the deal from what I know: Zeta Gundam is coming, but in a huge box set that is coming out soon. No idea if it will ever be broadcast. Meanwhile, Superior Defender, which is influenced by Gundam but made for us, will premiere on Toonami in September. Meanwhile, there is a ton of speculation that we will get Gundam SEED in the near future, but no one has confirmed it.

Zeta Gundam will definately air on Cartoon Network, I GUARANTEE you. Every single animated Gundam show ever released in America has, this won't be any different. Don't assume it won't just because it doesn't have a TV deal yet, that means either its too early to bother doing it yet since its still a little while off, or that there is a deal and they're simply keeping it secret for now. I frankly wouldn't be surprised to see its TV premiere announced in a few months.
F91 is coming soon too.

F91 coming soon... In the theatre's no less! That's a momentous occasion for Gundam fans.
Zeta may not be on CN right away, but it wont be long before CN will get that urge for Gundam and poof there it will be.

For some reason a lot of people on various forums got it into their heads that the announcement of Zeta not comming to CN in 2003 meant it's not comming to CN at all.

Expect it to be confirmed tomorrow at Bandai's Otakon panel.

It'll be a limited theatrical run like CCA before it. It's not going to be some big thing like the Pokemon films.

And apparently, they just did. :p

Wow, not one, but TWO new Gundam series for us next year. Over 100 new episodes for us US fans :D I'd expect to see Zeta on AS early in the year, and SEED probably around this time next year on Toonami.

Yep, Blight Man just confirmed it to me: SEED (8 episodes to go in Japan) and SEED 2 (will start soon) have been acquired and are coming to the US, as Bandai said at Otakon. (just hope this doesn't screw up their work on Zeta)
Also, I sort of forgot the theatrical release of F91....

Mmm... sounds about right, although I think SEED's television release depends on WHEN in '04 they plan for it to be released on DVD...

Why would it do that? ^^;; They're probably well into it's production, and unless SEED is using Blue Water, there shouldn't be any conflict.

Seed 2 won't start until Oct 2004. Two full series in 2004 makes up for nothing new this year besides SD gundam.
