Where God/Angel/some Benevelent force come and beat a demonic villian? I mean you see these movies with the devil, demons or as in Freddy Kruegers case given powers by a demon. I am just wondering if their has ever been a movie where a good force has come in to help?

Though I'm kind of trying to forget this movie, isn't that how Bless the Child ended?

That's essentially part of the Spawn storyline...albeit not seen in the Spawn movie.

In the comic book though, an angel warrior from heaven helped Spawn destroy the demon...not THE demon, just one of them. Maybe they'll put that in Spawn 2...

...meh, probably not.

I'm not sure. But the comedy movie Dogma best fits that description. You should check the Sci-fi channel becuase they show movies like you're saying. I remember this one movie about a half-angel trying to stop a fallen angel from destroying the world. It wasn't a good movie to me. I still think Dogma is a good movie. :)

That happens in The Stand, but thats a made-for-tv movie, so it might not count.

Angels in the Outfield featured help from up there. Curiously missing, however, was Satan. He was probably taking over New York or something, leaving Arnold Schwarzenegger as Earth's only hope.

It's not a "horror" movie, but Time Bandits did the same thing. They used God as the Deus ex Machina. But it was spontaneus, he had been chasing the bandits throughout the film for the time map.

Check out some of those recent lame Christian thrillers like Megiddo and Left Behind to see God kicking some Satanic butt.

Well, The Prophecy had something to do with God and Satan and Angels. Though I can't remember if there was any direct encounter. My mother watched the movie once when I was a kid and the implications scared the crap out of me, so I've been not-so-subconsciously avoiding it.

You are probably looking for Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00007CVRX/qid=1060319047/sr=1-6/ref=sr_1_6/104-6862701-3850320?v=glance&s=dvd)

I have a Japanese Horror film on VHS called Eko Eko Azarak. It features a good cute teenage Witch trying to stop a bad cute teenage Witch. It's kind of like Buffy but more bloody. Eko Eko Azarak 1 and 2 haven't been released in the US yet. Eko Eko Azarak 3 was released in the US but it sucks compared to the 1st 2 movies. Eko 3 is a made for TV movie. :(

I seem to remember some angel/devil element to the movie Hideaway, with Jeff Goldblum as a man who dies and is resuscitated, but finds that he now has some kind of mental connection with a satan worshipping serial killer. I saw it years ago, so I don't remember much about it. It's based on a book.

The Propechy is just the opposite. Gabriel turns bad, and a couple of humans, with the help of Lucifer, bring him down. But I definately recommend it.
Megiddo: The Omega Code 2, is also good. All about the rule of the Anti-Christ, Armageddon, and the 2nd Coming.
