Whats Your Favriote Halloween Special?

Every month from here until January I will try to put up a thread about Holiday specials and since it's October and Halloween is just aroud the corner. I will post mine a little later in the week so what are yours?

The one about the Great Pumpkin on Charlie Brown, of course. And the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror ones....all of them.

Also the Garfield Halloween Special. I remember being so scared by that pirate ghost. As a kid, i mean:p But i watch it every year, along w/ the Great Pumpkin. Candy, candy, candy, candy, candy!:D

The GREAT PUMPKIN still stands tall after all these years! The Garfield special is also a good one (I was surprised they re-aired it last year)

One I'd probably watch instead: "Treehouse of Horror V ("The Shinning"; "Time and Punishment"; "Nightmare Cafeteria")

Treehouse of Horror's are always fun, but I don't particularly remember which numbers are the better ones :D

Hm...never saw the Garfield special on video, only read the book. Charlie Brown's is nice, but put me in for the Simpsons Halloween specials by far! Particuraly #6-THAT was the best one, since all the stories were scary and not stupid...also, anyone remember the AHH!-REAL MONSTERS Halloween eppy? For some reason, that one holds a place in my heart...monsters not getting to scare on Halloween! :rollseyes:

I loved "Real monsters" lots!

But mark up another point for treehouse of horror.My favorite segments (I could never remember which ones go in what episodes) were "fly vs. fly" and the one where homer is traveling back and forth through time,altering history.(not very halloweenlike,but the gags in that one were hilarious...a world run by flanders!!!!!!)

Also the real ghostbusters one,even though I only saw it once and barely remember a thing...

Just off the top of my head, the Simpsons Halloween bits I enjoyed a lot were the one where Bart became a fly hybrid and the one where Maggie was revealed to be an alien offspring. Of course, there isn't any of them I dislike, tho my least favorite is the one that takes place in the past where they are found to be witches. That one didn't work as well for me, but all in all, there isn't a Treehouse special I wouldn't watch several times over. They never get old.

SIMPSONS Halloween specials were great until...well...they got recently sucky...

although i love the great pumpkin (come on, its classic), i agree w/ optimal and stray cat.....GARFEILD HALLOWEEN SPECIAL kicks butt. And is was scared of the old man and the pirate ghosts as a kid too. Yeah optimal, CANDY, CANDY CANDY.....

I love the Simpsons' Hallowe'en specials. The one with the time travel is so funny.

Okay, this one is really old, but I remember on Nickelodeon there was a show with Marc Summers and a bunch of kids trapped in a haunted house. I haven't seen it in years. I loved it. I waited for Hallowe'en every year so I could watch it.

Last year, there was a show on Fox Family Channel called Scariest Places on Earth that was part of their 13 Days of Hallowe'en thing. It's a pretty cool show. It is creepy.
