Rumor has begun to spread that actor Christian Bale may be up for the role of the Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman: Year One. The actor is perhaps best known for his work in the chilling American Psycho. For almost the past year, names have been dropped countless times for actors supposedly linked to the upcoming project. Only the director is confirmed to be attached to the upcoming movie.
The movie will be based on Frank Miller's award winning 4 part story which reveals the first year of Batman's career.
Expect more rumors like this to surface and die out within the coming year as the movie comes closer to production. Another Batman movie is also in the works for the near future - World's Finest: Batman/Superman. This feature is very early in production and already rumors are swerling!
