I know he is in his eighties and was wondering if he has filmed his scenes for Star Wars 3 yet? He even joked about not making to see the last Lord of the Rings movie released. If I was Lucas. The first scenes I would be shooting would be his. As to avoid another Gladiator mess where one of the actors died before filming all of his scenes.

I know what you mean, but it seems most of our favorite movie serials have experienced this lately. I feel Star Wars got hit already by the death of Sir Alec Guinness, they could have used his voice.
Matrix has experienced this twice. As did Harry Potter and James Bond. So, I'm hoping Episode 3 won't. But, we'll just have to see.

Christopher Lee has been in Sydney for a week or two now. He's probably started his filming by now, and will probably be done soon.
He'll probably be back at a later date for additional filming... either later in the summer, or during pick-ups next year.
Samuel L. Jackson has already completed the majority of his scenes, and will be back in August for addional filming.

If Vader will actually be in this movie, i hope they get the lines for him out of mr. Earl Jones quick. At the rate these celebrities are droppin, you'll never know who's gonna be next.
i really do hope Christopher lee doens't die before filming Dooku. but knowing Luca's they'd jsut use some fancy CGI

Well as a fellow TZer mentioned to me in private, I think it would be nice if we all hoped that his remaining life is good to him privately rather than just praying he manages to finish a few scenes for a movie before pegging it... :D
Lets keep some perspective here! We all sound so cold and mercenary! :)

SJJ,
I was not trying to be callous. Christopher Lee is a great actor and I would never wish him any ill will. I was more commenting(joking) on HIS comments on being around to see his work in the movies.

The comment was in jest. I wasn't attempting to imply you were, however the remark that was made to me amused me enough to post it... :p
