Batman Beyond continues to march onward! Have you seen Toonami's first Batman Beyond promo? Excellent! Cartoon Network's done it again, and they've only just begun. Anyhow, how bout a fresh question:

With a DC universe as grand as what we've been so thankfully given, consider this. What DC character do you think would make for the best fight against Terry??

I wil start it off I think Green Lantern because he can form anything with his mind and his power ring , Superman because well he's aSuper-manand bascialy nothing can hurt him (exept Kryptonite) and mabye Bruce in the Exo-Suit Because when he wore it that first time he kicked butt.

I would have to agree, Green Lantern in my eyes is the most powerful DC hero.

Best Fight: Azrael vs Batman (Terry)

That's a great idea Angel! Not only would it be a match of athletic guys with a bunch of techno tricks, but it would be SO theraputic and just plain wonderful to watch Terry kick that jerk's fake-bat butt!!!

I actually liked Azbats, though. I felt he was misunderstood. By the end, he was almost out of his mind, unable to distinguish the visions of his father and St. Dumas from reality. I thought we got a pretty good look at Paul's thoughts and feelings. He meant well, was trying hard to be the right Batman, but the System kept overwhelming him. I was kind of disappointed that Bruce, Tim and the others only saw this violent, cruel person that needed to be defeated, instead of realizing that Paul just needed help.

But like you said, it would be a heck of battle to see. Both guys are great fighters possessing a whole lot of technological wonders. It would be a pretty perfect matchup.

I honestly fail to understand why you people think so highly of "Terry McGuiness" anyways. He was a MARKETING PLOY!!! In my mind he doesn't exist and to entertain the thought that he does demeans the one and only Bruce Wayne Batman to the same extent that the John-Paul Valley/Azrael Batman did. If you liked him, fine, we all have our own tastes (good and bad), but to think of him as worthy of being Batman....?!?!?! "Batman" is not a title or a mantle to be passed on, don't you understand that? Batman is BRUCE WAYNE, period! So lets please not insult the (arguably) greatest super hero ever created, K?

I have never insulted Bruce Wayne. He is, very obviously, the reason I (and everyone else) is a Batman fan. The only insults I'm seeing right now are coming from you, aimed toward McGinnis and Valley. Have you read the Knightfall saga? Do you understand them? Clearly, Paul became a monster, but there were reasons for that. Anybody who's read the Knightquest books knows that. And if you've seen anything of Paul Valley since then, you know that Bruce Wayne trusts him, as do Dick and Tim. Hence his involvement with them during No Man's Land.

And Terry's done absolutely nothing wrong. He's carried on the Batman tradition well. He's respectful of the role, of Bruce Wayne, and of the responsibility that's needed. Bruce trusts him. By criticizing Terry, you're criticizing Bruce. You're criticizing his judgment. You're the one that's insulting Bruce Wayne.

Finally, being respectful of Bruce doesn't mean spitting on all other characters. Terry and Paul, as represented in comics/tv, are people. They're people, just like Bruce, Tim, Dick, and others. Not only that, they're good people, fighting for the same thing Bruce does. They deserve respect just like everybody else.
