On their latest assignment, under-age Juni and Carmen Cortez (Sabara and Vega) journey inside the virtual reality wolrd of a cool but crazy video game, where anything is possible, including the impossible. Action film veteran Sylvester Stallone joins the cast as the power-hungry villain the 'Toymaker', who wants to take over the youth of the world, and Juni and Carmen must battle their way through tougher and tougher levels of a three-dimensional game ingeniously designed to outwit and defeat them. Using their usual humor, gadgetry, bravery and family bonds, the Spy Kids must win every high-flying, puzzle-solving challenge, from racing road warriors to surfing on boiling lava. Meanwhile, high-definition digital 3-D sequences and special viewing glasses give the audience a chance to interact with the larger-than-life excitement on screen. Adding to the visual fun, "Spy Kids 3D: Game Over" also features all-new inventions from the mind of writer/director Robert Rodriguez, who lets his imagination loose in a blazingly colorful, futuristic game world come to life. In this latest chapter of the Spy Kids trilogy, Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino reprise their roles as suave spy-parents Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez and Ricardo Montalban makes a comeback as the Spy Kids' grandfather, who plays a pivotal role in their mission. Also returning are Steve Buscemi as the mad scientist Romero; Alan Cumming as Floop; Bill Paxton as Dinky Winks; Cheech Marin as Uncle Felix; and Danny Trejo as Uncle Machete.

I'm no good at making these talkback things, so I'll just keep it simple and say I think it's a pretty good movie. I'd never seen a 3-D movie before so this was movie was a treat.

Short plot- Game Over: it's the new massive online videogame that's all the rage. Created by The Toymaker, Game Over takes the players on a virtual reality trip through 5 mind-blowing stages, the last of which is "unwinable".
Juni Cortez is now an ex-OSS agent who has become a private investigator. He's thrown back into the agency when he finds out his sister, Carmen, is trapped inside Game Over.

That's all I'l say about the movie so as to not spoil anything special. All I'll say is that the 3-D glasses don't come into real play until about 15 minutes into the movie. A message appears on the screen that lets you know when to put on and take off the glasses.

If you like the Spy Kids movies and like video games, this is for you!

See the "Movie Talkback Thread Collection" thread. That'll help you fix the thread like so it looks like it's supposed to look.

On to the review: Liked the movie, but I didn't like Sylvestor Stallone's character. He was too out of place for a movie like this. The role of the Toymaker would have worked better with a lesser known actor.

The rest of the movie was good, at least up until the final act when They threw in EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER from the last two movies in for the final fight

That plus the fact that Antonio Banderas gets top billing, yet he doesn't even show up until the last five minutes

Loved the Elijah Wood cameo, though. I honestly thought that was Gary Giggles when "The Guy" appeared until they did a close up.

Oh well. I'll let somebody else take care of it.Well you got your wish. Why was this such a problem for you? It's not hard, it's not difficult and I wrote up an entire post (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?goto=postid&postid=784835) to explain it so people didn't just have to look at a finished one and figure out how to do it.

What I did up to the first post took me a tops of 8 minutes (and I have 56k). You mean to tell me that if you have the time to post a "talkback" and add comments about the movie you can't run over to the ComingSoon.net (http://www.comingsoon.net/) database (http://www.comingsoon.net/database.php) which have every single piece of information you typically need for new releases?

It's one thing to just not have a clue what's going on or starting a thread you weren't planning to have be the talkback, but to say "I've seen how it works, but I'm not going to attempt to do it." is basically lazy.

It was a freakin hour and like 10 minutes long.

Thank god because I couldn't watch with those glasses any longer, this wasn't 3-D. Terminator at Universal is 3-D, this was more 2.5-D.

The kid that plays Juni can't act to save his life, the other kids were extremely annoying. Carmen was decent.

The only fun I had watching this movie was the lava scene (which just reminded me of every video game ever so much that I HAD to enjoy it), and any scene with Stallone in it. It's sad to see him reduced to this, but hey, Clooney hasn't really fallen through yet and he's in it, so I guess it's ok.

I'm just thankful this trilogy is over, I thought the 1st one was cute, 2nd one wasn't, 3rd was garbage. Ugh, today was a bad day for me and movies.

Well at least someone is paying attention. :)There was no problem. I had no idea ther was a mandatory structure for these things. As far as I knew, all you had to do was make a thread and talk about it. So I didn't make it fancy. Big deal. I hope you accomplished your task of sounding smart. Thank you. Now, back to the movie.

It was a decent movie, but only because it was 3D. If it wasn't in 3D it would have been a terrible stinking pile of garbage. But wearing 3D glasses is fun so I gave it 2.5 stars! YAY.
