On other message boards everyone is negative toward it, so I would like to see what this message board thinks about it. Here is a description of the upcoming Zelda game.

Nintendo is currently showing two new Legend of Zelda games here at E3, and the more original of the two is The Legend of Zelda: Tetra's Trackers. In this game, you'll use your TV screen as a large overhead map, and your Game Boy Advance will contain the actual action.

The object of the game is to collect stamps from various townspeople. You, as one of four different versions of Link, have to run around town to get stamps from these people. Some will give their stamp freely, while others will charge rupees or require you to accomplish other tasks for their stamp. You can glance up at the GameCube screen to get a sense of where you are on the map or to view other general points of interest. All the while, Tetra, the female pirate from the Wind Waker, is onscreen, occasionally pointing out points of interest on the map and relaying information about who is in the lead. This is done via full, English speech. You must run laps around this checkpointed course until time runs out, at which point the player with the most stamps wins the round.

The game will have multiple courses, but the one we saw was a town that was done up in the same style as A Link to the Past. Tetra's Trackers currently has no planned release date, but it will be coming to the North American market sooner or later.

Doesn't interest me, really. Might be a good game for younger players.

Sounds like a fairly good idea. Just also keep track on making truley new Zelda Gamecube Games, you know like the Next Wind Waker. This is good for a sidetrack game though.

Did you know that there's a good chance this game might actually not get released? Word has it it was really just made to demonstrate the GBA/GCN connection capabilities at E3.

And if they did release it, I certainly wouldn't buy it. Four Swords, maybe, but not this.

WARNING: MAJOR spoiler below! REALLY major!
But how can it be called "Tetra's Trackers" if Tetra is really just Zelda in disguise?

Ooooooohhhh, aaaaaaaahhhh. This does absolutely nothing for me.

Sounds more like a cheap attempt to get people to buy the GBA/GC hookup. Which system is this on, anyways?

The game shown at E3 was for GameCube, but as Behonkiss noted it may never be released. No release date was mentioned at E3 and more than anything it was just a demo. Personally I hope it is tossed in with Four Sounds.

Nintendo has yet to disappoint me, so I'll most likely be getting this.

this game sounds like it could be a fun little quest/adventure game. i am an avid zelda fan, but i think this well just be a rent. does anybody know anything about the storyline of the wind waker sequel?
