I was just wondering since semi new episodes of Futurama equal better ratings for AS all around. I mean hardly anyone has been able to see these episodes anyway with fox's strange progaming schedule.
So do you think AS will get the remaining episodes of futurama???

I'd guess sometime around the latter part of this year, but I honestly have no idea.

AS should be able to get the remaining Futurama's are Fox runs through them, which should happen by August I believe. After that, it's anyone's guess as to when they actually air them on AS. Hopefully they will be aired in proper order though, and not tacked on at the end, since some of the not-on-AS eps are in order before AS eps.

While part of the original deal was the rights to all 72 produced episodes, FOX held on to the latest season of episodes until they finished their run (which should end on August 10th) and will probably allow CN to air the episodes in the fall. I'm not sure how they'll do it though. Will they air the episodes in normal production order run, and just fill in the holes with the 5th season episodes during that run, or air the 16 episodes as a special event. The way they're airing the "Weinstein" episode of Family Guy makes me think choice one.

I think there were some skipped Season 3 and 4 Futurama episodes on AS's first and second run.

I think there were some skipped Season 3 and 4 Futurama episodes on AS's first and second run.Yes, as me and DG mentioned, there were. We were wondering whether they would properly insert them back into production order for a future run, or just some them as a "lost episodes" kind of special run.

Like DianaGohan said, they filling the missing Family Guy episode into the correct order and may do the same for Futurama, but what would really be smart would be to first show the missing Futurama episodes as a special and promote it so the majority, who don't normally come to places like this, will know ahead of time, and gain a big boost of ratings ( NOT that Adult Swim isn't doing good, but the more the better )
After that they should then fill the episodes in the correct spots.
