HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY, WORLD'S FINEST DISCUSSION CENTER!

That's right! Today marks the 3rd anniversary of these message boards (Justice League, Batman beyond, Animation & General Topics)! In September of 1998, the first of the WF Boards would be put up: Superman: The Animated Message Board. That board would soon evolve into what is now the AniGen Board. Less then a week after that board was put up, the Batman and Batman Beyond boards soon followed. Since these three boards have been put up, they have evolved and changed more than Batman's costume! The boards had three different homes, and the name changes were almost constant. I plan to put up a board history eventually here at the site.

These boards have a long, long history. These boards have been able to overcome attempted floods and smut and have grown stronger. They have survived basically evenry problem a board could have and managed to come out on top. Heck - these boards survived a temporary shut down and all the regular posters at that timer came back! Dedication like that is a rarity this day and age. These boards continue to grow stronger with each passing day as new posters come in at almost a steady stream. I'm sure all the veteran posters here can remember all the high and low times these boards have been put through.

So, I'd just like to wish this place a great 3rd anniversary, and I know the 4th year here will be just as great as the three before.

Also, another small announcement - with the addition of Maxie Zeus and Mad Hatter to the Mod crew, Nightwing is now considered a veteran mod like RobinIII and myself.

Go us!!! I'd like to say congrats to the folks who made these boards. It must be very gratifying to know they've lasted this long. I'm just happy there's a place i can talk about Batman (and Superman, and BB, and other animation, and general stuff, and stories, and a crap load of more personal stuff than i ever though we would)! Yeah WF!!!

Strangely enough, I've been checking this board out for along time yet only just now started posting reguarly on this message board.

Like the great shows that this site is dedicated to, Worlds Finest has given me a great alternative to mainline DC.

So now not only do I have access to so much great info about the shows but also to what has been so far a much, much better message board exprience than what I'm used to seeing.

I would also like to thank Dick Grayson for answering my e-mail voicing my concerns about the Justice League cartoon during the days following the tragedy.

Still new here and don't know all the nuances this place has gone through to get to wear it's at, but your definitely doing allot of things right!
Your assiduous work is evident throughout every page, board or forum. From my first visit this was obvious, and I've checked in almost every day since.

I just wanted a nice place where we fans could interact without being hassled, or being treated poorly by jerks. Amazingly the level of quality has remain constant, if not grown, in the 3 years WF has been up. I'm looking forward to this 4th year for sure! I'm gonna try and have a board history page done by November is my schedule warrants.

Congrats to all who have made it a success! I'm fairly new here, been here about a year, disappeared for awhile when the boards switched to this new domain, and have been posting regularly for about 2 months or so.

But enough about me, nice job everyone!
