Aloha all,

Okay this is an older image, but as I've been asked on where my current avatar came from, I'd figured I'd share. That is Jubilee. She started off as a sketch (http://www.shaka.com/~bic/er/graphics/VM-uasketch19.jpg) which I liked and scanned in. I attempted to CG color her in PhotoShop and somewhere in the mid process, this occured:

Needless to say, I preferred it to the final image (http://home.hawaii.rr.com/bicworks/graphics/VM-BicWear001.jpg).

Wow. The color work is absolutely gorgeous. Very delicate color shceme and line contours. Beutiful job on the hair and facial shading. The final image fits very well into the background.
Great GREAT job! ;)

Her face is gorgeous! I love how soft and feathery the entire pic is, it's really absolutely stunning.

as usual the best results come from as bob ross used to say "happy accidents" ;) this is imo the right step to improving the comp colouring process, as i feel they're only main flaw is making the pictures much too flat looking. i'd say your technique with this pic really begins to tackle that problem.

Very nice! It's a very soft, soothing picture, and she has a very pleasant expression. This is better than the final image, I agree - though that isn't half bad, either. :)

*HIGH FIVE*

Exactly what tim said, except I suggest that you add the X men symbol or something to make us realize that it is Jubilee.

Still very good though :)
