As many of you, it seems that in every Marvel movie produced recently (starring the most famous of the characters from the Comic Book Publisher) the creator of many of the series (Stan Lee) has had a cameo of some kind in each film. So which one would be you're favorite?

You know, I never did see Stan in X2. And did he appear in any of the Blade movies?

Anyway, my fave Lee appearance was in Daredevil, when young Matt Murdock stopped him from walking out into traffic.

I'd have to go with Daredevil, too. It was really... cute. Special props to his hilarious Simpsons cameo, as well. The Thing will fit in your Batmobile!

They all sucked, but it was cool seeing him in the movies. :)

He didn't have an X2 cameo because he's not doing sequel cameos. And no Blade appearance because he didn't create Blade (same will probably happen with Punisher).

My favorite was Hulk, because he actually spoke, and it had Ferrigno as well.

]Early in the movie Brodie can't get in the comic store because Stan Lee is inside signing. But we don't see him until toward the end when Brodie is sulking around the mall and Lee comes up and talks to him, convincing him to get back Rene.

Now, to be fair, the first post in the thread does specify Marvel movies, so it makes sense that Mallrats is not included. But I definitely felt it needed to at least be mentioned, since it was a GREAT bit.

hot dog vendor. out of all of the things to have stan do for a cameo (maybe read a newspaper, drink a cup of coffee, count his money), they make him a hot dog vendor. i think that is just too hillarious.

Daredevil, it was just cool how he would have died if it were not for Murdock.

but Stan Lee RULES in mallrats, that and it' my fave Smith flick.

Since this poll is obviously for Marvel movies, I'd have to give it for Daredevil, although I liked his brief heroic stint of saving the little girl in Spider-Man.

And how could you not like his appearance in Mallrats? It was sweet!!

I think I'd have to go with Daredevil for his best cameo. But I never caught him as a hot dog vendor in X-Men 1? What scene is it in?

What scene is it in?In X-Men (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?threadid=61972), Lee is serving a hot dog to X-Men 1.5 commentary guy Brian Peck on the beach when mutant Senator Kelly comes ashore. Everyone is staring at him and there is a fat guy (Peck) about to eat a hot dog, Lee is behind him. On the commentary Peck says he can now say he's upstaged Stan Lee. :p


I also edited the title (MARVEL is normally capitalized, I'm not being mean) because Mallrats is upstaging this thread. ;)
