I'm a bit fan of the group Harvey Danger, currently on hiatus apparently. I got sucked in with their only hit 'Flagpole Sitta' and was pleasently surprised to find songs laced with amazing writing, great takes on religion, family, philosophy, relationships, etc, paired with some amazing musical talent. They've had two releases, 'Where have all the Merrymakers Gone?' and 'King James Version, before simply falling off the radar. It's a real shame that they've disappeared, as I'm a huge fan of their works and still listen to them consistently. So anyone else know what band I'm talking about?

I got hooked into them when I heard their song on the trailer for Disturbing Behaviour. I was really surprised at the kind of music, namely the quality of it, on their releases. It wasn't this trendy, half-baked garbage that seems to populate shelves today, but woll orchestrated and well written music. Very thought-proking, sometimes touching, and very well done.
