Next to X2 this is my favorite film of the summer. Of course, I like the movies you don't have to think about. Plus Demi Moore's still hot.

McG has no shame. He created an overly sexual film with less intense action to back it up, and got a PG-13 rating knowing full well that teenage girls would see this movie in droves. I could tell how many single guys were in the theater when Natalie and Madison had their psuedo-lesbian moment. The roars were hilarious. And the interaction between Alex's boyfriend and Alex's father were priceless, especially coupled with the fact that more than half the theater (teenagers) didn't get it. I lost it at that point, I'm still laughing.
Demi Moore still has it, but that beach scene looked flaky. I thought the hair obsessed guy was wasted in the first movie. And why were there so many Americans in a Mexican bar? It was a star-studded 90 minute filler, so I guess it served its point. I was just looking for cheap entertainment on a Friday night, I got my wish. 1.5 stars.
Later.

This movie rocked SO much socks, i still cant get over that i finally saw it. Me and my nifty friend matthew saw it opening DAY (earlier today) w/ my mom and sis and it was awsome to the point that i cant think of a good word for it. all the girls looked super hot and demi is a goddessss......the action was FRICKIN AWSOME, especially the fight w/ Seamus and his gang...stunts were way awsome, martial arts and sports and everything inc.! dialogue thruout was better than the first, and had some nice BUUUUUUURRRRRRNNNNNNN between demi and cameron...my only complaint (and it is a decent sized problem for me) that there was not enough of a catfight bettween Cameron and Demi @ the end. after they crashed the car into that asian lookin building and they uttered the best lines in the enitre movie (this is it, u ready? - are you?), i was expecting a HUGE BIGASS KILLER FAMOUS CATFIGHT, but alas, the earlier one didnt get much camera time and @ the end demi just shut Cameron down right away...somewhat of an anti climactic end fight, but still, overall the movie still gets 5 out of 5 stars.
p.s. ull enjoy this movie much more if u have ADHD ;)

You really can't not enjoy this. And believe me, when I saw the first one, I was prepped to not enjoy it. But I loved it with every inch of me. It's the most entertaining movie in recent memory and the most fun I can remember having watching a movie.
Does Full Throttle live up to that? Almost. It's a worthy follow-up to be certain, and includes the key element to a sequel of its nature: Taking everything from the first film and turning the volume up.
But there are only two things FULL THROTTLE suffered from....
1) I didn't fall in the love with the characters like I did in the first one. Natalie wasn't as spunky and goofy and cool, and Dylan fell too much into the "feeling sorry for her" rather than just being the (somewhat uncertain) bad-ass she was in the first one. I will admit I liked Alex a lot better this time around, mainly because of her scenes with her dad (yes...I admit, I didn't get the boyfriend/father conversation at first either...but once I did...).
2) No Bill Murray. I liked Bernie Mac pretty well, but Bill Murray made everything complete the first time.
But I do highly recommend this movie. If you liked the first one (and how can you not love the first one), you're gonna have a lot of fun at the second. In fact, one of the guys I went with hadn't seen the first one and got a kick out of FULL THROTTLE. So see this movie! You've already seen The Hulk, so this is better than anything out there. And a message to my fellow men...girls can see this too. People talk about the perfect date movie...well, screw the romantic comedy. It's this.

This movie was a lot of fun. The story was whatever, but it's explosive in action and fight scenes. I especially like the imagery of hell as Demi's character Madison goes down in flames, and I really like the selection of music that played throughout the movie. So I recommend this movie, if you want something that's just pure entertainment and doesn't have much to think about. :)

Just don`t mention anything about Luke being Vader's father ok?The thread says "spoilers" folks in here can "spoil it" all they want because it's assumed you've seen the movie if you're in here and reading things word for word. These threads would be pretty pointless if it was one big spoiler box.

I didn't really enjoy this film much.
There were some decent fights, and Shia made a small appearence, but it seemed more of a girl thing.
