Interesting commercials!

There were new commercials for JUNE BUGS last night, and they still insist they're showing ALL of them. However, one of them was interesting. It showed the many faces of Bugs. Here's a list:

Bugs as a Matador from "Bully for Bugs"
Bugs as Romeo from "A Witch's Tangled Hare"
Bugs as a cop from "The Unmentionables"
Bugs as a Gambler from "Barbary-Coast Bunny"
Bugs as Little Bo Peep from "Super-Rabbit"
Bugs as Bobby-Soxer from "Long-Haired Hare"
Bugs as a Geisha from "Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips":eek:
Bugs as a female dog from "Hare-Um Scare-Um"
Bugs as a blonde from "Rabbit Seasoning"
Bugs as :confused: from "Rabbit of Seville"
Bugs as Leopold from "Long-Haired Hare"
Bugs in women's clothes from "The Wabbit Who Came to Supper"
Bugs as a "Cake Girl" from "The Unmentionables"
Bugs as a "Tasmanian She-Devil" from "Bedevilled Rabbit"
Bugs as a mermaid from "Hare Ribbin'"

I believe that was from "Napoleon Bunny-Part" when Bugs disguises himself as Josephine.

I guess you could call that Bugs from Rabbit Of Seville the "scissors dancer".

I don't like how they worded the commercial, they tried to be vague and misleading, you could interpret it as saying ALL Bugs cartoons will be shown, or just that a bunch you didn't think existed (if you never watched ABC, that is...) will be shown.

Really? They showed Geisha Bugs!?:eek: I'll look for that next time!

Thanks, Jon. I KNEW it was from some mid-50's Freleng Bugs. I swear to God that they showed the Geisha Bugs. If you put it in slow motion you'll cleary see it!

I've seen a couple more JUNE BUGS commercials today. One that aired after the Looney Tunes Show (the one that said "The Drama! The Music! The Romance!") had some interesting clips. One of the "double takes" was Bugs' reaction to seeing the female bunny on the island at the end of "Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips", they also used a short clip of the Bugs as Lincoln scene from "Southern Fried Rabbit"!! Why must you tease us like this, Cartoon Network??

Well, I wonder if they will run what they do air uncut? Maybe that's why all 12 of those others got axed, because they didn't want to just edit them? I hopeihopeihopeihope.....

And the Australia trip promo is obviously inspired by parts of "Bushy Hare".

I didn't hear any that said "ALL" Bugs cartoons, but one commercial said something like "with 50 cartoons never seen before on CN".
