Can't mess with this Lady!

Long time to post one of my drawings. Well, I have been creative this past week and I hope you like. I am trying to learn SK's technique in coloring :D Don't kill me! Critiques please!

Hey Kylie, first off, I love the sketch you did. I've always liked your style - nice curves, and that hair, I wish I could do hair more realistically like that. :)

As for the attempt in photoshop...where'd the rest of her body go? :D I love the shading/colouring on her face and hair, but the eyes look - well - evil. Is that what you meant by not wanting to mess with this lady? :D

I remember your earlier photoshop pieces, and I can see that you've improved a great deal since then, Kylie! *HIGH FIVE*

Finally, you decided to join the world of color, huh brat? :p

The drawing is great... simplistic, delicate lines. I remember when you showed it to me earlier in the week and I still think she has a shy demure to her... As if she wild yet shy at the same time (gee, sounds like someone I know :p).

The coloring is starting to come out fantastic and cant wait to see it done. :)

I know it says not to mess with her, but you know me, KW. :) I'm absolutely in love with her, excellent job!! Your color skills are coming along too, since you started. They're going to take time, though. Photoshop has a lot of crap in it, but you'll get it hands down.

I think that you did a very good job on the coloring of the hair and I like the colors you chose. I don't understand why the skin on her face is blue, but the skin on her body is not.

Nice Work. I think the shading of the hair is a bit overblurred. I tend to do that as well as I'm not so sharp with photoshop myself. Did you try using the wand tool? This is probably the greatest tool I discovered how to use in photoshop. :)

As for the coloring goes, it's pretty damn sweet! (Not sure why her skin's blue, and I'm not sure why her body isn't there yet, but I'm assuming it's still unfinished.) I LOVE the shading on her hair. It's very realistic. Oh, and let me guess, you used a neon glow on the original picture to get that sort of inverted-but-not-really feel, right?

Either way, nice. (Love the hair. Gotta dig the hair. :D)
