With the theatrical cut coming out soon as was done for FOTR, I was wondering if there's any word on a four disc version of The Two Towers. I'm picturing it in packaging like the FOTR one but coloured red (the FOTR set matched the green colour of all other FOTR merchandise) and another set of bookends based on the towers.

Thanks. What exactly is the Gollum thing? Does it serve some purpose like the bookends with FOTR or is it just a sculpture?

I think it's just a statue. I don't really think it serves a purpose--just a little something something.

Should've posted this earlier, but here's a pic of the Gollum statue in question, for easy reference:

They should've just gone with another set of bookends featuring the two towers, but hey. Can anyone tell if this is the real statue or not? Looks like a cardboard cutout to me.

this explanation comes from the websitehttp://www.TheOneRing.net ---"The official site has announced the specific features on the 4-disc package to be released in November. In addition to all the goodies below, the Platinum Series Collector's version will also contain an awesome Gollum statue from Sideshow/Weta Collectibles!"
So it's a statue by what this website says

Well, it's not really free as you'll have to pay more for the 4-disc set with extras then the 4-disc set by itself. I'll just have to remember to keep my The One Ring keychain out of his sight...
