I need footage of the old corney "training" or "instructional" cartoons we used to watch in school on the 8mm projector. Does anyone know where I could get these? They should be public domain, but I'm having no luck finding them.
Thanks
Tim

as I recall, these were 16mm.
the only place I've seen any is ebay/movies/16mm, but even that's rare (the sex-ed ones get the best prices, driver's ed is second) you might look on ebay for dealers, and email them - I suspect they might have more than they list.
good luck

Supposedly, a good number of the truly old educational films (from like the 50s) are lost forever. Mystery Science Theater 3000 got all of their old shorts from one guy, who actually collects (and tries to preserve) these pieces of classic comedy. ;)

how abot a circa 1942 short produced by the US gov't showing farmers how to grow marijuana?
(actually rather boring, but still bizarre...)
