Should I add anymore costumes to the picture? This, of course, is just the rough draft. I want to color and ink it, as well as put a background behind it (it's going to be rooftops given in one-point perspective, where the vanishing point is going to be behind Spidey's head).

Here they are clock-wise starting with the Spidey placed at the highest part of the picture:

Ben Reilly Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Alien-Costume Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, and the Original Spider-Man in the center.

I figure adding Spider-Girl and the female Scarlet Spider from the Spider-Girl book would seem kind of redundant, (I haven't really been following her book for awhile, forgive me). I also know there is a new Spider-Man with a slightly different take on the original in the Spider-Girl's books too. Then there's Black Widow (not really Spidey-related, but, eh), the Spider-Women (the black-and-white one, the original red one, and the John Byrne one- although she had, what, a new costume almost every issue?). I could also throw in the movie costume, I have a cool idea how to shade his highlighted webbing with ink (think of it as a stylized version). Any other characters I left out? Or is the picture fine like it is (should I just keep the characters that I have now is what I mean)?

I think its great the way it is. I personnaly don't see the need for any Spider-Girls in there, as they are just girls in Ben Reilys suit I think. (Sorry, don't read Spider-Girl).

It would be cool to see the movie suit, as I have plans to draw that soon myself (with silver webs on it :) )

Those are all some very nice poses! I should trace some of those just to get some good action poses down. :) And yes, please colour them!

Now that I think about it, your right Amazing Spidey, I am going to keep it like it is. I'll probably draw another assortment of characters in a similar compostion later on.

I'll post the inked version, then the colored version, later on in this thread, so keep an eye out. ;)

On an unrelated note, here's what I want to do with my website. I want to embed my Windows Media Player into one of my webpages, like I said before, so that I can show whatever animation I want to showcase without having people have to worry (and wait forever) downloading the animation to their hard drive. It'll already be uploaded and ready to go (similar to how they have it on the Gotham Girls website).

That all works out in theory. The execution of it, however...

I got the idea after reading the tutorial at WebMonkey:

http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/01/49/index2a_page5.html?tw=multimedia

I copied the script for embedding the Player into my HTML for the web page, and had no problem. The little cartoon that is set as the default works fine too. It's when I insert the script for my animation that I run into problems. Every time I try it, the Player loads onto the page, but the picture doesn't start up.

Anyone understand what I'm going through?

I personally don't have to wait ages for your animations to load. It takes a little while to load the first time, but them runs smoothly the rest of the time. Just thouht you'd like to know.

Looking forward to more Spidey pics :D

I wish I could say the same about the speed of my computer. It takes forever to load, and still continues to take forever to play.

I can't play my own animations. How embarrassing. :o

Yeah, I'm the same, your animations never take very long to load at all... I never knew what you were complaining about :p

As long as others can view them, that all that matters :D

Youre cool as far as amounts of costumes... Looks very interesting so far. I want to see the end result.

It's on its way, Outlander! :)

Although up until now I was working on finishing coloring that Peter Parker model sheet, it lookin' schweeeeet. I'll post up the finished version of that later too.

It's Thursday (the beginning of the weekend for me), homework's all done (college summer classes who didn't know), so now I have all this time to work on everything else. The Spider-Team picture might take longer than I expected (I take forever with buildings- I'm still penciling those things. ).

By the way, anyone know of any websites with photos of city buildings in New York City, Manhatten, etc.?

*Need....... reference material......gasp!*

http://smilies.jeeptalk.org/cwm/cwm/disgust.gif - I hate you...

Just joking! :p Your picture looks great. I really like all the poses, because when I draw Spider-Man, I have the hardest time making a pose for him. It always looks odd to have him just standing there... I can't wait to see the inked and/or colored one. And in the other one you said you might make, remember the Spider-Man Unlimited one. ;) I love that one. It was aloso in the comics for a while.
Also, it doesn't take me a long time to download your animations either. Oh, and I love those too. :)

btw, what happened to your site? Didn't you once have a site with a lot of pics on it? Not the msn one. EDIT: I think I may be thinking of some one else, but I don't know who yet.

Sorry, I'm still working on getting that Media Player embedded. :(

But that doesn't mean I can't use the site to post images to here (like the picture in this thread, for example)

And don't worry about me being able to draw Spidey. I've been drawing him since I was born. :D

I just found out who I was thinking of, and it was spidart, I knew your style was different, but I thought it was you because spidart hasn't been around, and you bothe have spider like names and drew superheros. yeah. :o sorry.
I once posted one of my doodles of spidey, where I actually came up with a good pose, I think: here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?threadid=75253)
Anyway, good luck with your embedding. I love webmonkey, I go there all the time to learn how to build my site.
P.S. this was a very weird post. I said a lot of random things

Oh yeah, I remember seeing those!

Ah! Scoobyzilla! *Toonami Narrator's voice*: Gotta Love It......

Like the Spidey one, too. You seem to have Mark Bagely's (Amazing/ Ultimate Spidey) style down pretty well. :)

:D Lovely work as usual! Simple, yet effective! I like his trainers... What? I do! They're cool as man!

I think someone already mentioned it, but he is rather buff. Dont get me wrong, I like buff dudes ;) But I was worried that he wouldn't look like a teenager. And I think the colours and clothes do help a lot though, so you know.

Good job!

Yeah, about Peter being a little buff, I actually scrapped the idea of putting him in high school. Instead, he's going to be a freshmen at ESU. I figure he looks more like he did in the John Romita Sr./ Stan Lee days (when he was in college), and plus, putting him in college fits the story better.

Another reason I think he looks buff is probably because of the way his t-shirt flares out at his sleeves; that seems to make his biceps look bigger than I wanted them to be.
