Hey, this is what I just read in the letters page of the latest Superman Adventures issue:
"We do have ourselves a guest appearance by Batman Beyond right here in these pages, slated for issue #64. The story pits both of them against one of the most dangerous and powerfull of Superman's enemies. Jordan Gorfinkel (who's also writing #60) and Aluir Amancio (our artist for the next issue) pulled out all the stops! Wanna know how Superman and Batman Beyond can fight side by side when they exist decades apart?(probably a Time Machine) Watch for it!"
Sounds exciting, huh? I can't wait to see how Aluir Amancio will draw Terry!:D
See ya!

Hmmm. Its sorta sad that we can't get a good BB comic story until after the BB comic has been canceled, and then only in a different comic (Superman)!

I can already predict this story. Terry is caught in a time anomily or whatever in his time and that throws him back to our time. Or Hamilton is working on some device that goes haywire and pulls the tomorrow knight to us. I betcha...

fine, they say superman's greatest enemy.......the Parasite! The best character in Superman.

I absolutely loved the Parasite, but I'm sure this villain's gotta be a lot bigger than that. Maybe Karcol (spelling's WAY out there lol) or something seldom seen, with extreme power.
I'd say DG is REALY damn close if not right on the money with what Clark will need Terry for (reliable friendly old Prof. Hamilton anyone?). But if the story doesn't involve Hamilton in that way, then I think the only villain capable of time travel technology is Darkseid. Possible? Meh, like I know! lol

Hi everyone!
I too think DG figured out the exact plot. I think he's right that Terry will somehow end up in the past and Dr. Hamilton has to help return him. If done right, it could be a cool story.
However, I wish it were the other way around. I would love to see the present Superman winding up in the future and meeting Terry in tomorrow's Metropolis. That would give us a chance to see what became of Superman's supporting characters in the time of BB, and maybe he could even run into his future self. The two could talk, and the future one can warn his past self of things to come. I think that would be even cooler.
Sadly, I don't think we will ever see such a story, for both Superman Adventures and Batman Beyond will soon be no more. Well, at least there is the fan fiction!
Have a hopeful day!

I predicted those becuase those are the simple and easy ways a writers can bring two chaarcters from different times togethor. I'd love to see some creative way, but I think we'll get the standard. I can't wait to see Almancio's take on Terry and Bruce. Id Superman gets pulled into the future, then that'd be pretty sweet as well. Maybe he'd get a glimpse of his future JLU self?

Sorry, Dick, but I hope you are wrong!!! Nothing personal, of course, it's just that I hope the writers pull a more original and unexpected premise out of their hats to surprise all of us! No use in looking forward to the issue if we all know what's going to happen!

You're probably right DG (though I hope you're not). By the way, I hope that the villian Batman Beyond and Superman team up against is Darkseid. He is definitly THE most powerfull and dangerous of Superman's enemies!
See ya!

'ello, 'ello all. I was thinking of ways to bring Superman and the Tomorrow Knight together without time travel (has that ever been done in the Superman cartoon before??), and came up with something that happens (the big villain) during the time that Superman Adventures takes place, and dosn't get resolved till Batman Beyond's time. Something like Superman fighting a low power villain and he/she get's trap/goes off to power up, and comes back forty years later.
Or, like DickGrayson typed: "We'll get the standard."

That'd be great, but the synopsis says they'll be fighting side by side. And to me, that just doesn't bode well.

We'd better enjoy that issue since this might be the last time we ever hear of Batman Beyond in the animated comics.

I know I will. Aluir Almancio's art will be enough for me! I can't wait to see his Batman. He did a Batman head in a past issue an got it dea don. I'm eager to see his Batman B.

True. Aluir A's by far the best Superman Adv. penciller currently. If only Manley had done more than covers.

I agree. I would've loved to have seen Manley do more insides tha issue #25 and a few stories in #42. BTW - What did everyone think of the art from the last ish -- oh wait...this should be asked on the JL Board...

Does sound a bit interesting although I just doubt that's is valid since the B:GA crew is only up to issue #44.

is "Gotham Adventures" going to continue or is it going to get canned too? i hope not, the animated books are about all i pick up, with the exception of Harley and Batgirl....
is it possible that batman (terry) and superman's meeting could have something to do with a "malfuctioning" boom tube? i just got ADCU annual 1 the other day and they had a young Scott Free meet his future self (as Mr. Miracle), so i figured that could be a way for them to meet, just a thought...

The crew behind B:GA assure me the book is safe for now. Even if the book reaches issue #50 and that's it, I'd actually be happy. the Batman naimated books have yet to reach #50 and it would just be great to see. Anyway, the B:GA book is safe for now.

true, Gotham Adventures has been a great book. i'm really looking forward to the issue Craig Rousseau is going to pencil. his work in the BB book is pretty cool, and his Batgirl in the ROTJ comic adaptation looked awesome...
