'Jurassic Park IV' Update

Hotdog Magazine reports that Steven Spielberg is after Keira Knightley to play an older version of John Hammond's granddaughter Lex (Ariana Richards portrayed her in the first two films).

It looks like the grandchildren (all grown up of course) are going to be heading back to the island, but that's just my guess . . .

Of course, they should have done this for movie three. . . oh well...

Makes me wonder how much older they want the character. I mean, so much time has passed since we saw her in Lost World, that Ariana Richards could in reality play Lex. That is of course if they are having the story in "real time." Meaning by the time number 4 comes out, then we last saw Lex 8 years ago. So if it's been 8 years in Jurassic Park time, she could play herself, but if they bump this say 15 years into the future, then another actress is probably necessary.
